First time flyer question

Hi everyone,
I've gotten alot of great tips on this board and this is my first question. I've found a great rate of $660 for the four of us flying out of Boston on Jetblue for my May trip to Orlando and want to book it Thursday. Any info on online booking would be great I've never done it before. Also I will be renting from alamo with a debit card and they need proof of a return flight. Will I get what they need if I order online?

i have booked online many times and haven't had a problem. i have never flown on the airline that you are going on though so someone that has, please respond. as for the whole online booking, some airlines allow you to pick seats at the time of booking and some not. i have done both. this past august was also the first time that i checked in online before i left home. airtran allows this and i checked in at home, and printed boarding passes and just went to the airport. i had to check lugguage so i just took it up to the counter, showed my boarding passes and they printed lugguage tags.

as for the rental car thing, not sure what proof they need. hopefully they can tell you exactly if you don't already know. when you book online though, you do get a complete intinerary on the receipt that you print so see if the car agency will accept that. GOOD LUCK!

Advice about booking on line. Easy, follow the prompts. Very simple.
As to renting with Alamo, you only need proof of a return flight when you pick up the car, which you will have if you print out your flight schedule when you make your online reservations.
