Everyone who raves about the biscuits, the recipe is on most Bisquick boxes. It calls for dried parsley, but works better with fresh, otherwise it is spot on!
Ok, here is the recipe that I got from www.cdkitchen.com (they have copy-cat recipes). DH and DS8 have asked me to make this several times and we all LOVE it that I've had to make 2 batches.
Red Lobster Biscuits
2 Cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese - shredded
1/4 cup margarine or butter - melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 450. Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix margarine and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm. Makes 10-12 biscuits

I am trying that recipe tomorrow. I have a nice new box of bisquik sitting in the pantry. I haven't been to Red Lobster in ages.
There's another restaurant around here called The String Bean, and they use the recipe on the side of the box to make their dumplings. My aunt always wondered how they got their's so light and fluffy, finally asked the owner. She said just to follow the bisquik recipe.
Red Lobster around here attracts some very scary customers, so we haven't been locally in probably 20 years. Did go to one with friends out of town about 3 years ago, don't remember any biscuits then.
