Hello all,
Long time lurker, occasional poster. Just booked a stay, four nights at Vero Beach in June. We have never been to the resort or to that part of Florida. And we would love to know your absolute must-dos and absolute never-dos. Any advice, tips, memories you’re willing to share are greatly appreciated.
For context, we are a childless couple in our thirties from New York, not big on nightlife but enjoy drinks and dining and other unique experiences.
Thank you!!

We really enjoyed staying on property and although we were there a week, there was a lot to do and didn't leave the resort.
We were delighted by Wind & Waves for dinner, you won't be disappointed. The views from the Green Cabin Bar are amazing. We went to beach and pool everyday and also enjoyed the many excursions available.
Order some groceries when you arrive so you have snacks and drinks in your room. The Publix Instacart App is my favorite. We are only 2 hours away so we drove and ordered online and picked up at nearest Publix. We purchased 3 Jugs of Water (2.5 gallon jugs sit perfectly on table surface), Chips, Fruit, charcuterie board, additional cheeses, dark chocolate (Lindt intense orange is my favorite), champagne and wine.
Enjoy and don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle and sunblock!

Depending on the time of year, the sea turtle events are awesome. I'll never forget seeing a mama turtle laying her eggs. They are led by a naturalist and have strict capacity limits though.

If it's not too hot, rent bikes and go along the intercoastal channel. The walk around the lake across the street is nice too.

I also enjoyed solo early morning beach walks, and lounging in the hammocks. Can you tell I like Vero beach?
