Headed to Orlando tomorrow evening on a red eye from Seattle. Spending 10 days at WDW and for the first time ever we are doing 1 day at Sea World and 3 at US!! I've been so wrapped up in planning for our first trip in the FP+ era that I have neglected to do any US planning. Is it too late to make dining reservations?? Where do you recommend?? We will be staying at the portifino and it will be me, DH, DD (8), DS (6 months) and my mom.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

i usually make any reservations the morning of the day i am in the parks.
i decide in the morning when get up what i will do that day.

pull up nexttable and make your ressies tomorrow morning.
open table might still be active for some of the restaurants at city walk and the parks.

when you get to pbr, go to the conciere desk in the lobby.
you can ask them to help you make reservations with them.

you can also make reservations at the booth at city walk.
(i think it is stll there and operating)

Mythos is very popular; the theming is spectacular. I haven't eaten there in years so I don't know how the food is, but I've heard it's good. Finnegan's and Confisco's are also good. I've found that for the most part the sit-down restaurants are a better meal than quick service, and usually it's only a difference of a few bucks.

If you have Potter fans in your group, The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley are both good and offer slightly different English-fare options. I've some great food in the Simpsons area (the taco truck and the chicken and waffle sandwich in particular).

Margaritaville is my favorite CityWalk restaurant. Good food and a really fun atmosphere inside.

Mythos is fantastic - great setting and views and WAY above average food for a theme park. Hard Rock Cafe and margaritaville are also fun place with good (not great) food and drinks in fun settings...

There's a food sticky at the top of the forum if you want to go through that. It's getting pretty long but there are some polls at the top that might help.

I enjoy Mythos and the Harry Potter Eateries as the atmosphere is really special.

I'll add a vote for Finnegan's.

We liked Finnegan's for lunch and we had a great meal at Hard Rock Cafe during our recent visit. Bubba Gump at CityWalk is also a favorite if you want seafood.

If you like Pizza, Sal's in PBH is fantastic.......one of the best pizza's ever.......not expensive either. Jake's at RPR is a fantastic place to eat too........

Citywalk has a good choice of places. Margaritaville and NBA are two we particularly like. Looking forward to trying Cowfish this year, gets good reviews. NBA is closing soon.

Studios.....for counter service we like Louie's and there are some good choices in Simpsons food court. Lombards we like for TS. Ben & Jerrys for dessert. The Boulangerie is nice too for fresh sandwiches.

IOA.......love Thunder Falls for cheap counter service. Best chicken wrap ever.......big portions. Love Mythos and Confisco Grill for TS. Excellent value for what you get.

We really enjoyed The Three Broomsticks! It was a great atmosphere and all the TM's were wonderful! Yummy food too!

We recently returned and we enjoyed:
Cowfish: Georgia Roll and Crab Dip was outstanding. The boys ordered of the kids menu and one had the Tempura Shrimp Roll without cucumber and the other had PB&J Sushi Roll. This was very yummy.

Margaritaville: We did the Meal and Mini Golf deal and we had to chose from a limited menu. I had the chicken with a mango salsa, hubby had Jambalaya, and boys had hamburgers. Signed up for the email club and received a free appetizer and we chose the crab dip. All was very good and way to much food!

Red Oven Pizza: We enjoyed the Big Eye Pepperoni and the Alla Benno that has prosciutto, pineapple, and jalapeno. Every slice was ate.

We also had breakfast at the Harry Potter places and I loved the Apple Oatmeal Flan at Leaky Cauldron and the Continental Breakfast with a blueberry scone at the Three Broomsticks. The boys had pancakes and hubby had the Traditional Breakfast with eggs, sausage links, black pudding, English bacon, baked beans, grilled tomato, sauteed mushrooms, and breakfast potatoes.

One place we ate at and did not care for was Lombards Seafood Grille in Universal Studios. My husband and I shared the Seafood Pot Pie and we thought the fish was over cooked and still had an alcohol flavor to it. We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer and for $8.99 we only got 4 shrimp. Our two boys ordered Fried Shrimp and for $14.99 they got 5 shrimp and some fries. However, they had a lobster bisque that was very good and I would go back just for this.
