First Time at AKL

Good morning!! First day of school nerves got my mind in 100 million directions....

So I was wondering about AKL and dining options....we've eaten at Boma several times so my question is when we get back to our room...let's say after midnight....are their dining options available??

Is there QS open or is room services an option??

This is our first time staying outside of Shades of Green so I'm super excited about staying at AKL. Thanks much for your help!!

The Mara is the quick service restaurant and is open from 6am to 11:30pm. The Zawadi marketplace has snacks, however they close at 11pm. If you're coming back after 11:30pm, you can either get something from room service or pick up something on the way back to the resort if you have a rental car.

Just to add: AKL does not have 24 hr room service- it ends at midnight:

Sounds like maybe you'll want some snackage in the room fridge waiting for you after midnight. Congrats on your AKL stay, it's a beautiful resort.

Plan ahead-Go to MARA and bring it back to the room for nighttime. Buy a meal during breakfast or lunch or gets snacks . There's plenty to choose from.

Fridge yes, no microwave in the room unless you are staying in the villas. If you need a microwave, there is one in the Mara but again, The Mara is only open until 11:30 pm.

I will ask about the microwave....we are travelers and I know that we can request a micro or fridge if needed...Are we able to request a microwave??

We may even grab something at one of the QS places open towards the entire of the night and carry it back on the bus.
I would just hate to get back hungry and/or wake up starved!! Don't you think it is strange that if parks are open past midnight...you would think that they would offer later food options...just saying.

I agree with the late night food availability thing. Disney hates to miss a chance to turn a buck, why not have some late night food available? Even if it's from the front desk at the resorts, they could have a small selection of items
