First Solo Trip/CRT??

I'm considering (let's all be honest, not considering, planning!!) my first solo trip to the world. This would be my 4th trip in 4 years, 2 as a nanny, one with a friend. I'm going to be in Orlando for a conference and figured that I might as well visit WDW while I'm there! Any excuse to go right??

So I'm most likely going to be staying value (first time at POP!) and taking advantage of the free QSDP. I've really never done any of the TS restaurants, only Liberty Tree Tavern and ESPN Zone. Would a breakfast at CRT be weird solo?? I've always wanted to have breakfast in the castle, and see an empty Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning. I know I'll be paying OOP, but I'm thinking about having one TS meal while I'm there, so I might as well make it a good one!! What do you all think??

free dinning for the value resorts is the quick service only - not table service.

that say you can pay extra for TS

eating at any of the character meals is fine. they all have tables for two (which works fine for singles too)

really like Cape May Cafe over at the BC.

When I went down to the World in April, I asked the same question in one of the other forums about a couple of the Character meals I was interested in. I was assured that no one would look twice at me if I went to something like CRT (which was one I was considering). Unfortunately I didn't plan well enough in advance and there weren't any ADRs available for my trip. I was worried about a single male being thought as creepy for a character meal such as CRT.

If you're interested in it, I say go for it.

I've done several TS solo and have a couple more planned on my upcoming trip. I haven't chosen a character meal - yet. I'm thinking of maybe Garden Grill for my solo trip next year.

never had a problem with I did CRT solo... CMs where all nice and friendly...

Go for it! I have not done this, but I'm planning on it for my solo. I'm doing Crystal Palace b/c I like being in MK early and I like unlimited bacon.
