I looks like it is going to be an early winter this year. It is unseasonably cold where I live. High of 42 today. It feels like late November not Oct.

Is the snow early for you?

Our weather in north of scotland is still quite mild, we had a frost last week but now its still mild, no need for coats and hats yet. That is quite unusual for us here.

We have family near you! I don't know how you deal with the winters there! It is only 45 here on the South Shore of LI.

We got almost 3 inches of wet, heavy snow last night in North Dakota. We even lost power for a short amount of time because of the weight of the snow on the lines! Lots of tree branches down too. I had to send the kids to school in snow boots and winter coats.....its about 38 right now. Luckily the weekend is supposed to be in the 50's again, so all this yucky snow will have to go, as Dr. Suess would say.

My parents live in the Poconos!! Lucky for them their on vacation in NC right now!

It's super cold her today too!! It was 42 when I went to pick up my DD and school!!
