What were your first signs?

A feeling. Kind of like there was something "there". And carsickness. I never get that.

And being nauseated by the taste of mint toothpaste.

Really, that's how I always knew.

Tired. Exhausted. And my chest hurt!!

Also, I once had a patient call to make a dentist apointment because her gums were bleeding. That is also a sign. I asked her if there was any chance she was pregnant (on the phone) and by the time she came in for her appointment, it was confirmed!!!

My very first sign was terrible heartburn for a few weeks. I knew exactly when I got pregnant with my second DC because the heartburn showed up days before I was even due for my period. Luckily, it only lasted a few weeks and then went away.

I never had morning sickness.

My mom-bottles HURT! OWIE! And they leaked, almost immedietly (before the test came back +)

Sick from the smell of anything "perfumey" (and I LOVE perfume)

And tired - CRAZY tired.

I have been pregnant 7 times (only 1 child though) and I could always tell when I was pregnant because my nipples changed size and color. Hope this is not TMI. And I agree, there was also a "feeling" of something being there.

Tender breasts, especially the nipples. I couldn't even let the water hit them in the shower.

Really tired. Aside from that, my first sign was that I could no longer lie on the floor on my stomach to watch tv. It was really painful. I never had morning sickness, thank heavens, but the smell of frying eggs made me nauseous.

I didnt have any symptoms with either child. If I weren't late I'd never have known I was PG.

With DD#1 I had terrible cramping (like bad menstral cramps). I found this odd because I never have cramps when I'm mentstrating. I also was craving cucumbers, I couldn't get enough of them. My co-worker, a good friend, asked if I was pregnant. I told him no-way because I just went off the pill 3 weeks ago. Sure enough, there she was .

With DD#2 I had weird feeling in my abdomen area (I can't really explain the feeling). But we were trying for a second baby so I just new I was pregnant.

Complete exhaustion that no amount of sleep seems to fix. Things you normally love (like coffee for me) make you sick to your stomach. I also had strong and hard to explain emotions, but that can also be part of PMS...

When did you first start gaining weight and notice your stomach increase and the feeling?

You dont really gain weight right away - (too sick to!)

The only "weight" I gained was in those 2 Mom-Bottles I spoke of...they got huge, very quick.
