They practice 6-8pm Monday - Friday in August, then in September it goes to just Tues-Thurs. Games are either Saturday or Sunday. Luckily I don't go back to work until after Labor Day.!

It flew by for some reason -- not quite sure what happened. Oh well. I am starting to get a little stir-crazy with being at home, so it's probably a good thing I am headed back.

Two years ago, I think, Michigan mandated that all public schools start after labor day. I LOVE being able to say that we still have all of August before school starts. BTW, if you love Anne of Green Gables books, check out the prequel just out. It's very entertaining and keeps pretty closely with the writing style of L.M. Montgomery.

Everyone was in high spirits at the bus stop.

We were the only ones on the bus and the first ones at the park that morning. While Aunt Pat went to get her and I real coffee at the stand outside the AK gates I took pictures of the kids messing around in the empty courtyard.

It was amazing walking through the empty park by ourselves. I can totally see why people covet those pre-park opening ADRs. Animal Kingdom is gorgeous and I took several pictures on the walk in.

How awesome, to be able to walk through a park by yourselves!?!!!

I just got caught up with your report after a few days away. Your house is absolutely beautiful, so big and airy. I love Ikea. Your trip report and pictures are wonderful too. It really looks like everyone was having a great time, even though they had to get up so early. I think that we'll have to try Tusker house on our next trip.

The prequel is called Before Green Gables by Budge Wilson. It's a worthwhile read for any Anne lover, IMHO. How's Flying going? My girls are gone for the week, so I'm trying to take advantage by making some things "magically disappear" from their super cluttered rooms.
