"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

BAD DISER ALERT!! BAD DISER ALERT!!!

:rotfl2: hey we all make mistakes. Did u like Kali? I thought it was way too short.

great update and pics.

:rotfl: Which part makes me a bad Diser? The part where I put my daughter in harms way on the wrong side of the Dinosaur car or something else?

Yes we liked Kali, though it's to short. Grizzly River Run at DCA is better, it's longer and has two drops.

Thanks for the tip about Dinosaur; I would have thought the same thing as you from looking at other people's pictures!

Poor Pocahontas!

Great update :thumbsup2

Ice cream is a great treat in the parks!

I went on Mulholland Madness and will never go again. Thanks for the heads up about Primeval Whirl.

Now I want to try Kali. I'm not sure if we'll need ponchos in the hot August sun.

My nephew is just like Adam. We could see tons of exotic animals and he wants to look at squirrels :lmao:

Great update! Yes my kids are the same way, oohing and ahhing over squirrels and ducks!

I love Kali though yes I wish it were a bit longer. It has one of my favorite queues too!

Poor Pocahontas!

There were two little girls by her, she wasn't totally alone.

People come off totally soaked. In the heat it wouldn't be bad if you wear the right clothes. Plus keep in mind where you are going after you ride it.

We didn't ever see much of the queu because we were always walking super quickly through it.

Well everyone but me I had a Diet Coke. I needed to keep my blood to caffeine level regulated.

That's important stuff!

Because I don't like scary things that jump out at me either I also positioned myself on the left side of the car. Most of you who have been on Dinosaur are probably laughing at me right now. ALL of the scary stuff, except the picture one, are on the left side! I felt so bad that I had told Daisy to sit on that side.
:scared1:

For some reason this picture made me laugh really hard! :lmao:

Adam was near me and I turned to him to point them out when he said, "Hey there's a squirrel!"
:lmao:

It's all about appreciating the simple things in life! :rotfl2:

Yes we have always only walked on this ride too but I just love the statues and the flowers and how you just feel like you are in an Asian temple, so much detail! :thumbsup2

I know!

Precisely! Dinosaur is scary!

For some reason this picture made me laugh really hard! :lmao:
:rotfl: Hey it took more than one shot of it too.

I really liked the trail part of it at the beginning.

the part of getting the wrong side of Dinosaur.

:lmao:

that icecream looks good :goodvibes

Those dinosaurs are everywhere!
If there are more than two seats on ANY ride, my daughter will ONLY sit in "the middle".

Too funny about the squirell. :lmao:

Cannot do Primevil Whirl:sick: I can't imagine who can tolerate it:confused3 Yay for ice cream! AK always seems about 20 degrees hotter then any other park! :rotfl: about Dinosaur!:goodvibes

I'm way behind...finally caught up! We liked AK a lot, too, tho we didn't do any of the big rides. Ds really liked Primeval Whirl, tho - I think that was about as big & scary as his thrill rides got. He rode it with dh, so I have no opinion.

You did crack me up about the whole bathroom break thing, tho!!! I can just see you, being annoyed, and being annoyed at yourself at being annoyed...geez, the nerve of him!

That is good to know about Dinosaur! We didn't ride it last time (not sure why...maybe we ran out of time?). If we do ride it this year, I'll be sure to remember to sit on the RIGHT side or in the middle! I would have thought the same thing about the left side by the pictures I have seen!

I laughed at the water picture too!

After our two weeks on safari it was time for a snack. Everyone got some ice cream.

Yummy!

ALL of the scary stuff, except the picture one, are on the left side! I felt so bad that I had told Daisy to sit on that side. I have no idea how our ride photo turned out, I didn't see it. I'm sure the only one not hiding their head or closing their eyes was David.

Oops! No Mom of the Year for you! :rotfl2: Don't worry, I have ruined my chances too!

Daisy wanted to ride Kali and I wanted to see if I could find some place selling a drink I read about called Yak Attack. I figured I could serrupticiously look while we walked over to Kali. I didn't spot any place selling any adult beverages but beer. :confused3 I was a little disappointed by that.

Yak and Yeti has the Yak Attack -- I know because I am planning on drinking one while I am there this summer! :thumbsup2

Adam was near me and I turned to him to point them out when he said, "Hey there's a squirrel!"
:lmao: After all the animals we saw in Animal Kingdom and a squirrel is still amazing to him.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My two do that too!

the part of getting the wrong side of Dinosaur.

:lmao:
 I know. I did feel really bad about it.

Adam claimed the middle between Aunt Pat and I, but both Daisy and Joey wanted to sit by David so they couldn't do the middle. I wanted the middle! :scared:

AK always seems about 20 degrees hotter then any other park!

I wonder why? :confused3

You did crack me up about the whole bathroom break thing, tho!!! I can just see you, being annoyed, and being annoyed at yourself at being annoyed...geez, the nerve of him!

Glad you caught up. :goodvibes I'm such a dork when I get myself all upset about stuff like that. :headache:

Nobody got a frozen banana for their ice cream treat? Those are my favorite!

I like frozen bananas too, but no way am I eating one in public!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who would draw that conclusion. The water picture was just for the trip report. :rotfl:

See I knew someone would know where I should have looked for it!:upsidedow
