We have three more days -- we test Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday this week, and Tuesday, Wednesday next week -- I finished my first book of "the testing stack" today -- I figure at this rate I will finish two more.

We did Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday this week, and then 6th graders only have Tuesday next week.

I finished up the next chapter of my trip report and started the next one today, during testing.

Now I'm home, but we have to go out and hang doors in the house, so I'll have to post the update later tonight.

Back at CSR we found Daisy Duck watching a little tv.

We all changed into our swimsuits and walked over to the pool. Aunt Pat decided to try the water slide as a test run for our visit to Typhoon Lagoon the next day. Unfortunately and to my eternal disappointment I did not bring the camera with me to the pool so I have no photo of this event.

David and the kids also spent sometime going down the slide. I chose to get myself an adult beverage and just relax by the pool. This time I picked a Frozen Electric Lemonade. It was bright blue and very tasty! I sat and enjoyed the atmosphere for a bit and the when everyone else got out went and got chicken strips and fries for our lunch. After eating, the kids wanted to go in the hot tub so I watched them over there, while Aunt Pat and David relaxed by the pool. Seriously isn't one of the best things about vacations hanging out by the hotel pool?

We went back to our rooms to shower and get ready for dinner. Everyone put on jeans and the boys wore their new Animal Kingdom t-shirts. After she was dressed Daisy asked if she could go to the gift shop by herself. That first weekend at CSR there was some sort of cheer competition going on and at 12 the last thing Daisy wanted was to be seen by those high school cheerleaders walking around with her parents. I told her she couldn't go by herself, so she asked her brother to go with her. David told them they could go. Aunt Pat was to freaked out by the thought of them walking over there alone so she went with them. I asked her to get a print out of our ADRs while she was there so I could check to make sure nothing else was missing after Tusker House that morning.

David and I enjoyed some alone time. I think he slept and I downloaded pictures and worked on trip report notes. The kids came back with candy and the news that their Disney gift cards they each had two of had $50.00 on each of them not $25.00. I had purchased the gift cards over a year earlier and I had forgotten how much was on them, so that was nice surprise. Aunt Pat returned with the print out of ADRs. I looked over it and discovered we were missing 3 ADRs, one of them being Crystal Palace that I had ordered a birthday cake to be delivered at! :scared1:

Major freak out now occurred. The thing was, I had reservation numbers and I knew our TA had confirmed the cake just before we left. I couldn't tell David exactly why I was freaking out so much because the cake was a surprise.

I called the front desk where the woman was pretty much useless. She informed me that I would have to come down to the concierge desk in the lobby to try to fix it. Concierge has no phone you can call from your room. The lobby was once again a rather far walk from our room and I was starting to get concerned about making our 7:20 pm dinner ADR at Tony's in the Magic Kingdom. I didn't really have much choice though. I felt I needed to get the ADR mess fixed immediately. So leaving David to finish getting ready and to bring the kids, Aunt Pat and I walked around the lake to the lobby.

There was one other person ahead of us in the concierge line and a couple people at the desk. However there was a CM working the line assessing what each guest's problem was. That helped to keep my impatience in check. I have to say that the concierge staff was wonderful. Very calm and patient and determined to get things worked out.

When I got to the desk the CM looked up the ADRs. No Crystal Palace. Then I pulled out the reservation numbers and she looked it up that way. There it was, party of 6, our phone number, but the wrong name. Instead of Patricia it was listed as Patrick Somebody. The last name wasn't even close so I'm not sure how that happened. :confused3 All three of the missing ADRs were under Patrick instead of Patricia, I'm assuming that's what happened with Tusker House to. The CM changed the name on them, printed out new copies of the confirmation numbers, and all was fixed. Thank goodness!

I wanted to double check on the cake to, so the CM called Crystal Palace but got put on hold. At this point I was still rather stressed because of the time thing again. I had planned on us leaving for Magic Kingdom at 6:30pm for our ADR time of 7:20pm, it was now 6:50pm and I had no idea how long it took to get to MK, I just knew it was the furthest park from CSR.

I told the CM we would have to check on the cake later because we needed to get to dinner and we hurried to the bus stop. David assured me we would be fine. He always says that and he's usually right, but I spent the whole bus ride watching the clock.
