"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Your trip around the world is enjoyable. I just feel so bad for you and your sore feet. I can't believe how rude those people were in the Mikey movie. We haven't been to WDW since '96, instead of the stroller assassins we had to fight off massive crowds of Brazilians carrying flags.

I am enjoying your report. All the pictures are great.

Thank you so much! :goodvibes I'm not sorry that we did not encounter massive crowds of Brazillians with flags! The people in Philharmagic did set the bar rather high for level of rudeness.

looks like fun eating aoround the world, i can understand Aunt Pats confusion over the ice cream you would assume the birght yellow to be lemon!!

So sorry about the sore fett, WS just isnt as fun when you are in pain, though hopefully the acohol helped a bit ::yes::

Going to have to take a nosy at your pre-trip report, i havent been to disneyland in over 10yrs.

I know, that's why it was so funny. :lmao: The kids and I got in trouble from David last night because we woke him up from laughing so hard at the retelling of the story.

It did, as long as I was sitting. ;)

Not much there in the pre-trip report, but there will be.

I'm glad to see that my sick sense of humor has caught on with your family!:rotfl2:

I wondered if you would catch that. :lmao: I knew when I saw the men in your family by that fountain that it was one pose David would think was fun.

I think it's a perfect christmas card picture!:rotfl:

You're making me miss world showcase! I'm hoping that it will be pleasantly empty when we go, too, b/c the UG now shows our whole week to be 3's and 4's!! Can you believe it? Your champagne drink and all the slushies look good--I'm sorry that it had to be to numb the pain of your poor foot! Tell Daisy I like her sunglasses. :thumbsup2

Woo hoo! Great update and I hope your feet felt good enough to enjoy your fastpasses!!
Looking forward to more!!!

Only 3's and 4's, you'll be super fine! We were there the week before Easter and most of our days were rated as 8's or 9's! Hurray for Tour Guide Mike and his best days chart! :woohoo:

:goodvibes Thanks.

Another great update! I love the fountain pose. I also love how it looks like your family took their time to explore WS. Everyone looks so relaxed and leisurely and not in any type of rush or under any stress. I hope we can do it that way.

How on earth did y'all eat so much? I am guessing you just "taste tested", right?

And those were 8's and 9's and only Germany was crowded? I hope we will experience such luck.

Glad Daisy found her glasses, and the kids looked like they were having so much fun with the toys and games!

I know it sounds like a lot, but during the whole day- Shared two orders of Fish and Chips that was one piece of fish for everyone but the two boys, and some fries.

Me- GG Slushie
Boys- Shared one crepe

Kids- a few pieces of candy
Daisy, Joey, and Me- one sushi roll each

Me- Bellini(that's the drink in Italy)
Everyone else- a cup of gelato

David & Joey- giant pretzels

Daisy & I- Frozen teas that we didn't finish

Joey & I- Tastes of ginger ice cream, we both ate about three bites.

See not a lot per person.

Forgot- Tried School Bread and Lefse

And those were 8's and 9's and only Germany was crowded? I hope we will experience such luck.

I just looked at my notes and UG had the Crowd Level rated at 9 that day. TGM had it rated as a 4 Blue People. Both UG and TGM reccomended Epcot for the day.

They were having fun!

next time you are in France (in Epcot anyways) try the pomogrante kir. It is a champange drink with about a shot of pomogrante liquor in it. It was soo good. Expensive ($10) but sooo good. Even when DH tasted mine he had to go get one for himself and he does not like champange at all. We even made them this year for new years eve. We just filled up the champange glass most of the way but left about 1 inch. Filled that inch with the pomogrante liqour. Everybody at our party loved them...and you could even do it with other liqour flavors...pomogrante was just DH and I's favorite.

Mmm....gelato...yummy! We didn't get around to eating anything in Italy, since we were saving room for dinner (Marrakesh) and we had already done crepes and pastries in Norway. Well, its probably just as well - that was also the coldest day of our trip!

But, :lmao: at the whole lemon/vanilla mixup!!!

Just got all caught up! LOVING IT! Great pictures. I sense an Epcot meltdown on the way. :rotfl2: ...for me on vacation, it wasn't my feet, but my calves. I feel your pain.

What flavor is the swirl margarita?

All of them! :thumbsup2

Boys! :faint:

Daisy, Joey and I all tried them and we all three pronounced them to fishy for us.
I've never had their sushi to know if it's fishy, but good for you for trying it! :thumbsup2

The next stop was actually a DVC counter. I scheduled an appointment for David and I to do a DVC tour the next day.
:cool1:

I also got some ginger ice cream for Joey to try.
I liked it too even though it doesn't sound too good.

Looked like a nice, relaxed visit around the world...that's just what I'm hoping for on my next trip! :thumbsup2

Another great installment! ;)
