First Night plus Birthday

Our first night is my birthday and I would like to do something special with my husband and kids (DD 8 and DS 7).
I already have HDDR booked but now I'm second guessing that decision. (we may just be too tired from traveling and what if we have tavel problems and don't make it). I am thinking of Boma and a walkaround Animal Kingdom lodge (which I would love to see) or 1900 Park Fare and a monorail ride (which is a sort of tradition on the first night for us).
Help me decide!!!

We are facing the same dilema. We narrowed it down to WC or O'Hana, finally deciding on O'Hana. Boma is my favorite restaurant at WDW; but we are staying at AKL for a week, so I figure we'll go at least once during the upcoming week.
