Hey now...we'll share transportation from the Dolphin to the Port and back!!! Breathe...stop hyperventilating!

LOL, I just don't know why this transportaton is such an issue. Maybe because I HAVE to figure something out. Who knows. I'm not losing sleep over it. My Disney planning gene is just rebelling against this whole idea of having to figure it out. If it works to share that is super.

BTW, great news on the home study. Several years ago we were going to adopt, and because we had one healthy child, we only qualified for special needs. Special needs spans a large span of children available for adoption. Prayers and pixie dust sent your way that soon you wil have the child that is meant just for you.

ETA: It was -11°F when I left my house this morning. Windchill put it below -30°F. 400+ public school districts and private school systems in the Metro Detroit area were closed due to the temperatures.

It is -8 right now in Pittsburgh.

It's a delightful 11F here in New Brunswick, NJ. Factor in wind chill it's -4F.

Oh, and a weather update here in Southern New Hampshire: -13 degrees at 7 am. Brrrr!

Let's see...it's -1 degree F here in America's Hometown. Don't know what the windchill is...don't want to know. Once the negative numbers start, it all feels the same to me.

The glass pieces look distinctively like intn'lly famed artisan, Dale Chihuly's creations. I've gone to see his exhibitions and love his work. The amazing glasswork in Las Vegas's Bellagio lobby is his commissioned work as well.

Chihuly had an exhibit at Phipps Conservatory a couple of years ago. I took a ton of pictures. They are on my smugmug site. I love his work. Kevin said he had met him and he is a little odd. I think a lot of artists are a little on the odd side.

Our school cancelled classes today also. It's only -22 right now, but there is no added wind chill. This is our 3rd cancelled day in a row. Plus, our kids don't have school on Monday. We could have planned a short vacation. But, no, we're stuck in the cold. DD missed 3 days of school last week from being sick. She's not going to remember what it's like going to school for a full week. I'm sure she'll get plenty of practice when they are going well into JUNE!
