Hope things start to happen quickly!

Most of my family have the Disney gene, so they at least get why I want to go to WDW so much. But they don't quite get the DIS...that's alright...I like having my safe haven, so to speak!

See, my family sooooo does not get Disney at all!!!! They are going to have a fit when I tell them about this cruise and when I tell them who i'm going with. They will not get it at all!! And of course, I'll get a lecture about spending money, but they'll get over it (I hope)!!

I agree with you Brandie, the DIS is certainly my safe haven!!!!!

:disrocks:

It's a delightful 11F here in New Brunswick, NJ. Factor in wind chill it's -4F. :cold:

Congratulations Brandie!
With my first the wait till referral was just shy of 13 months, and I thought THAT was a long time, and my second was adopted through the special needs program - I saw her photo and info before I even started my dossier! I know several others in the midst of years long waits now, and my heart truly goes out to you - the waiting really is the hardest part!

Here's to something happening quickly!

Oh, and a weather update here in Southern New Hampshire: -13 degrees at 7 am. Brrrr!

I'm waiting for this: :beach:

Let's see...it's -1 degree F here in America's Hometown. Don't know what the windchill is...don't want to know. Once the negative numbers start, it all feels the same to me.

-4 with -23 windchill here....

aspen, those were great pix of Atlantis. Gives me a really good idea of what it would be like - thx a mint for taking the time to share them! :goodvibes

The glass pieces look distinctively like intn'lly famed artisan, Dale Chihuly's creations. I've gone to see his exhibitions and love his work. The amazing glasswork in Las Vegas's Bellagio lobby is his commissioned work as well. :thumbsup2

cheers,
:flower3

His work is also on the Disney Cruise ships

I thought I had heard that somewhere.:thumbsup2

Have you watched the Travel Channel special? Its been updated a little with some info on the new ships also. Its from 2003, but I still watch it on occasion.

His work is also at the Indianapolis Children's Museum! The glass sculpture there is really cool...

I tried to get a photo of the chandelier while I was on the Wonder, but it was hard. I never got a good one. It is absolutely beautiful. I don't think it is a big as the one in the Bellagio.

How many more pages until this thread gets closed and we move to another one? :scratchin

I've seen that, its actually the best of the ones I've seen. Its like 4 stories high right? Lots of cool "glass" tubes for the kids to play with at the bottom also. Neat area.
