I usually have it all worked out by now. I think that is what is making me crazy.

Last time I just rented a car and drove to the port. My only problem this time is I want to take a car to port, so what/when/if to rent at all.

Are you staying at the Dolphin or DVC? I just called to get an idea if there was availabilty. I have DVC point to use so that makes the most sense, but weekend points are high. Maybe a stay at the new Kadani would be fun.

We are staying at Kidani Village. We received a free 5 night stay when we bought more points. We used it for the pre and post stay, so we got two fri and sat nights without paying any points! Worked out great!

That is so awesome. They didn't have anything for the night of the 7th at Kidani. My DH refuses to switch hotel rooms, and in this case he is probably right. The weekend point at AKV and SSR are not quite as bad as some of the other resorts. The question becomes then would I do standard or savhanna (sp?) view. Especially if I wanted to waitlist for the 7th. Ok, I am offically making myself crazy.

Tracy - question for you!!

For are pre-cruise breakfast at Cape May - would it be possible to make a couple of group reservations for the same time and link them somehow so that we are all seated in the same area?

I must have missed something. I thought the Cape May breakfast was a post-cruise thing. If it's before, what day/time is it? Or is it still in the planning stage?

Cape May Breakfast is Sunday May 10 - precruise - Time is dependent on ADRs

Its Sunday Morning before we convoy to the port. There is a thread to it:Pre-Cruise Breakfast @ Cape May Café. Its still in the planning stages, and depending on some things, it may be 7:30am or it may be more like 8:15-8:30.

Driving all the way from Toronto. You are brave.

I was going to tell you that the Passporter Cruise book is an excellent resource for lots of information. I looked though and it seems like they are sold out of the 2008 version and 2009 doesn't ship until April. There are some on Ebay, but it is hard to get someone to ship to Canada. If you can get ahold of one it is an awesome book.

:thumbsup2 Funny you mentioned this. I just pre-ordered mine a few days ago. Used a discount and got it for $18.64 (including shipping). They say it should ship out April 1st.

Are you taking a towncar to the port? I looked at it seems like the pick up from AKL is late. I am trying to get all my stuff together before I present it to my DH tonight.

ETA:

Don, do you still have room in your limo? Did you get the limo?

With all this breakfast talk I'll probably have bacon & eggs for supper.

Strange Cruise question....anyone know Pikey? He was a real gem on our last cruise and I'd heard he moved up the ladder. Is he still on the magic or is it possible he moved to the wonder?

Have been on cruises with him, but don't know where he's at now.

I'm not sure how Disney would work it. Sorry.
