First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Six For Your Fix

On my first Disney cruise back in 2007 I stayed up at the 75 day mark to make my reservations. Palo brunch was already full and the only times available for dinner were very early on the day of departure and on Pirate night. Here is my best advice. If you are going to be very very disappointed if you can't eat at Palo, then I would book at midnight. If it isn't that important, then I would wait until morning. I can tell you that Palo brunch is already showing full for parties of 1 and 2.
Dang...already full for parties of 1 or 2? Guess i'll have to hope that they've got space once we board the ship...

For those looking for Palo ressies at the 75 day mark. Don't forget they hold ressies for on-board booking. If you MUST DO Palo brunch/dinner then get to the ship early and go straight to booking (at the bar last time I sailed) and get a ressie.

Dude, you're getting close to 3K there... Should I start calling you "Sir?" ;)

(Sir, Yes Sir) I'm sure if I looked at my overall post count since I joined the DIS in 1998 it would be up there. I've changed my board name a few times since then and lost my post count with it; although I didn't post a ton the first couple years when I joined.

Yes same times, 9-3 every hour on the hour.

This is what's in my mind's eye right now:
Breakfast-- 8am
Dock-- 8:30am
Go ashore-- 9:15am
Parasail-- 10-11am
Lunch-- 11:30am
Jet ski-- 1-2pm
Lounge--
Reboard--????pm

Is that a busy day?

Have I mentioned how excited I am about this cruise? Even though it's our third. We did the Eastern 7-day several years ago and the 3-night 4 years ago. We've had an outside cabin with a big porthole and an inside cabin for the short cruise, but we've NEVER HAD A VERANDAH!!! I'm so psyched at the idea of sitting out there, having coffee in the morning, and watching the ocean go by.:goodvibes

Oh. And I'm excited about the podcast events and meeting all of you crazy folks too.

You're going to love your verandah. Make sure to get room service so you can have your coffee out there.

When I took DH on his 1st cruise (on Princess), we had an inside cabin. He was ok with it during the cruise, but afterwards he told me that we would have a verandah the next time.

I wasn't even sure that i'd be able to get him on another cruise anyway. He didn't enjoy himself as much on Princess. So imagine my surprise when he agreed to this one! I'm hoping that this cruise will change his mind on cruising...

I've been on other lines, he'll love DCL more if he loves Disney. All the Disney art around, the Disney music in the hallways (my DH and I play guess which movie), the characters everywhere, the kids deck so there really aren't that many kiddos just running loose, the shows are very Disney and awesome. He's just going to love it!

I was trying to post this from my iphone but couldn't type fast enough! It went for $800!!!!! whoooo hoooooo!!!! :yay:

HOLY COW! I'm so happy for you! I wish I knew what to buy that would get that kind of return! :cutie:

Morning! I'm really not here - shhh! I am working...

Congrats on the 2000/2000!

Did I miss much this weekend?

I was too busy sewing and reading Midnight Sun

Awesome book. Watcha making??

Awesome book. Watcha making??

I am into crunch time making dance costumes for myself. One done, one to go. I cut the material last night, but won't really get to do anything else until the weekend, or even Monday.

I need to finish this for March, then I can start the FE.
I am trying to get DH to help me with graphics for that - I may just use printable fabric to save some time. I have backing fabric ready and waiting.

Well I'm just envisioning my day. I'm not a sit on the beach kinda person. It seems relaxing enough. I scheduled 1.5 hours for lunch......that's about 10 times longer than I usually take.

I know you were talking about your day not my day. :) There will be no jet skiing for me. Sounds like fun but it would be too dangerous with my low vision. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

So if we wave wildly, from out on the ocean, you won't see us? Oh well. I'll wave like a fool anyway.:wave:
