I seem to recall someone who already booked stuff saying that parasailing was offered every hour (either on the hour or on the half hour). I also remember that we were going to try to get a group of us together and all see if we could book around the same time. What was that time? 9am? 9:30am? I forget, and I didn't write it down.:headache:

The time was 9:00am. Parasailing is offered every hour on the hour. :)

If I decide to just wait until tomorrow morning to make my reservations for Palo as oppose to tonight (12:01 a.m.) will there be anything left? I'm not overly concerned about what day we get or what time we eat (we dont mind eating late) Is making reservations exactly at 12:01 tonight a must do?

I can't remember now...what day is Castaway Cay day? And is that, historically, Pirate Night?

Pirate night is usually Nassau night. Those recent navigators are different because CC and Nassau were switched on that cruise for some reason.

So in theory it may be Monday night?

But it will not be Sunday night. For sure. Right?

Pirate night is scheduled for Tuesday in Castaway Cay.

How long does it take to get off the ship at CC? More specifically, what time would we need to be ready to go ashore to make it to the 9am excursion?

You would want to be off pretty much when they start letting people go ashore. There is usually quite a backlog of people trying to get off the ship. This time will depend on the time we actually dock.

This is very hard to predict. It depends what you want. If you want brunch, I would say you need to be booking at 12:01 am. There is only one date for brunch so it will go fast. Palo dinner will be a little easier unless you want a specific date and time. The first night and pirate night are easier to get.

On our 3 day in November I waited up and made reservations at midnight. I don't think it made much of a difference, there seemed to be spots available the next day. I stayed up to midnight for the 90 window too for this cruise. There were not as many brunch times available the next morning as there were at midnight. I have to stay up and just book because if I don't I know I will toss and turn in bed until midnight anyway.

This makes me want to hedge toward 10am like Jen, too.
•Less rush to get off the ship.
•More time to enjoy breakfast.
•Warmer air temperature.

On my first Disney cruise back in 2007 I stayed up at the 75 day mark to make my reservations. Palo brunch was already full and the only times available for dinner were very early on the day of departure and on Pirate night. Here is my best advice. If you are going to be very very disappointed if you can't eat at Palo, then I would book at midnight. If it isn't that important, then I would wait until morning. I can tell you that Palo brunch is already showing full for parties of 1 and 2.

Well I booked for 9:00am. I don't want to go alone, so please let me know if everyone is going to switch to 10:00am so I can change my ressie.:)
