I think I have reached a decision. I will cave and put something in the "marriage bank" with my Christmas bonus. And it'll mean downgrading and going on vacation alone, but I won't spend it alone. I'll be with 300+ of my closest friends. I can't see not going. Sometimes you need to do things for yourself.
