So Todd are you dressing up for pirate night?

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::
I had something in mind before I sent Tracy an inquiry about the cruise.

Does this mean I have to trade in the tiara for a night? Or just hide it under the pirate hat?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So now that this thread has moved onto the topic of cloths, I guess I have to get my Mom signed-up on the DIS. If there is anyone more concerned about cloths/packing/ what to wear/what not to wear, it's her.

I get her posting on cloths, no one's post count is safe. You've all been warned!

Ok, I've got a meeting. Catch you at lunch!

So who is dressing up for Pirate night? pirate:

I will be dressing up. I was a pirate for Halloween. I just need to make the silk vest I didn't get to. I will be making something simple for my step mother too.

Kim

I don't know if I'll be dressing up. I have no talent for sewing, and no money to buy anything. If I find something piratey lying about, maybe.

surely there is a way to make a tiara/pirate hat combo, right? :confused3 :rotfl:

I was a pirate with DS for halloween, so i have a pirate costume- walmart $20! So i might wear it, we will see.

I am not coordinating with DH since I am leaving him at home to babysit! :rotfl: :lmao:

I don't plan on dressing up much myself- like everyone else said, it's vacation!! comfy and cool it is!

For pirate night we wear pirate t-shirts, and I'm working on making a pirate skirt. We'll see how that goes. The rest of the trip we are pretty cruise casual. I like sundresses, but DH is wearing a tropical button down and tan pants with sandles. Also I find the dining rooms cooolllllddd, so you might want to take something to cove up with. Basically we're comfy with no jeans or shorts. That's us even on dress up night for a short cruise. On a long cruise if we don't feel like dressing up for what's called formal night, we eat at the buffett where it doesn't matter what you wear. Hope that helps!

I'm in the office catching up on a boatload of stuff. Working tomorrow, I am hoping to have the my group out of here by 2pm. The nice thing about being the boss.

Since we started talking about clothes, I must ask the next logical question. With the holidays here, how is everyone going to get rid of all the extra calories? So they look good in the clothes they bought for the cruise.

Spanx. ;)

I'm joining the Y. After Em gets on the bus, I'm driving straight there and dropping the boys in the daycare for 90 minutes of free babysitting while I work off not only the winter weight, but the baby weight too. My goal is to lose 40 pounds.

Truth be told, I tend to eat less being on vacation. I don't have access to junk food and I spend a lot of time in the water swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and walking on the beach. I do tend to drink much more alcohol then I do normally. I'll be going back on South Beach once I get home.

alrighty then
googling women's pirate costume brings up some colorful, not so disney results :scared1: eeeek.
Will need to keep looking, there will be children there for God sake.
I must spend too much time at Disney to notice these things
