1 yellow cake mix
1 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup water
2 large eggs
1 can pie filling with fruit (doesn't HAVE to be cherry)
1/3 cup butter
2 tbsp water
1 cup icing sugar
Grease a 9x13 pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together 1 1/2 cup dry cake mix and flour. Add 2/3 cup water, stirring until the mixture comes away from the sides of the bowl and forms a ball. With an electric mixer, beat in eggs just until batter is smooth. Spread the batter in the pan. Spoon the pie filling over the batter in small dollops. In a separate bowl, combine remaining cake mix with butter until crumbly. Sprinkle the crumbs over the pie filling. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
Combine icing sugar with 2 tbsp water until smooth. Drizzle this glaze over the cake.
It will be ready in about 30 minutes!![]()
Okay, I feel really stupid but what is icing sugar?

I think its called confectioner's or powdered sugar here in the states.
OK, a real cruise related question for Tracy:
Our passports expire in September 2009. I vaguely recall something about not accepting passports that will expire within 6 months. Tracy, can you tell us what the passport requirements are for this cruise?
Are you moving?
It is recommended that a passport be good for six months after you travel. Some countries require it. I have checked on the Bahamas and they do not require it. The reasoning is that if you have any problems and are delayed in your return that you don't have a problem getting back into the country.

Because of your food pron and everyone quoting it, DP has decided that we must make this tonight!!! The only pie filling we have on hand is apple, so we'll see how apple tastes. We will post a pic, too.![]()
Looking forward to your pic. Wish I could make this right now but unfortunately don't have any pie filling on hand. Will have to pick some up and try this week.
You are correct sir. I spent a lot of time with the M-60.......as you can see!!![]()

This it the cake that I made via aGoofyMom's recipe. I didn't realize I didn't have any icing sugar until three minutes left on the timer. DOH!Oh well. I shouldn't have all that extra sugar anyway. I will let you know how it tastes later, its still far too hot to even attempt a piece.
