Due to a family event I won't be able to go on the cruise as we had planned.

Pretty bummed as we were looking forward to going.

If there is a plus, the money we were going to use for the cruise will now be turned into some trips to WDW this year.

Maybe next time.

This it the cake that I made via aGoofyMom's recipe. I didn't realize I didn't have any icing sugar until three minutes left on the timer. DOH! Oh well. I shouldn't have all that extra sugar anyway. I will let you know how it tastes later, its still far too hot to even attempt a piece.

That looks great. I can't wait to hear how it tastes.

Okay, so Bruce Springsteen is going to Disneyland? Even though he's in Tampa? Is he confused, or does he just prefer the left coast? And what a kick in the teeth to Busch Gardens....

Since I am by no means a professional, I had to rely on a box for the cake mix. It was the super moist pudding cake kind.

It is quite good. Its rather odd though. When you taste the crumb topping and apple pie filling you expect a denser heavier bottom, but the cake bottom keeps it nice and light and don't sink in your belly like a lead balloon. And it was easy as pie to make. DP says it would go well with vanilla ice cream, but he finished that off on Thursday and didn't add it to the shopping list, so its his loss!
