Risking that I might lose yet another man card, I'm quite the scrapbooker. I scrap with wife 1 and am in charge of the Disney scrapbooks. Since we moved we haven't gotten back into it in a while, but I've done at least a half dozen or more books. I also did the snapfish and shutterfly books, one for a present on my wifes bday and there other for xmas for my inlaws and parents.

I think I'm in love:bitelip:

I'll join and accept any and all invites!

Don's in my posse! :cheer2:

So are you trying to collect me as a wife princess:

:rotfl2:

I just wanted to say...

DON ROCKS!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It's so true!

And yep...i'm a Gone With the Wind nut. Not nearly as bad as I used to be...but that was because I was not with my own personal Rhett! I was living out my fantasies of Rhett and Scarlett together during the time that DH and I were not together...once we reunited, while I still love everything GWTW, I'm not nearly as obsessed as I was before!

BTW...DH pegged me as Scarlett when we were teens. He's Rhett and I'm Scarlett :)

Savannah Blue just came to me when I was choosing my name for Mob Wars. :rotfl:

Ahem...for those hunting for DH's screen name...the clue lies above! :scratchin

The plot thickens into a stew! :upsidedow Savannah Blues is one of my fav. books. Even have it signed by the authors. I love GWTW, too, but a little late to get my copy signed I think. :goodvibes

Yay!!!! I have good news.....we will not have to cancel the cruise after all. Thanks to all of those who sent their well wishes, it really meant a lot to me.:grouphug:

That is SO GREAT! So, have you heard about Facebook and Fashion Wars yet? :rotfl2:

I think that since you are doing it with your wife its not so worthy of having your man card revoked...its putting a deposit in the marriage bank.:rolleyes2

That is EXACTLY what my DH says, except he calls it the emotional bank account. I'm not good at measuring, so he'll come over to my table and help me decide how big to cut letters and things, and he'll very manfully hold things down with his finger when I'm trying to move other things around at the same time. He's very helpful.

I have something that is totally :offtopic: (not that there is much in this thread on topic....)

As of today, we become a single income household. :guilty: DP is worried about being a mooch and feeling useless. Does anybody have anything I can tell him or have him do that won't make him feel like that? I have a short list of odd jobs around the house, but that will only last so long....

I wish I had a great idea like some of the others. I'll give it some thought and hope for the best for you and DP

So I caved and started with the Fashion/Mob thing on FB....I hate being trendy....

Not trendy, SUPER COOL! Thanks for being in my posse! ::yes::

Not hate....just intense dislike and severe lack of trust. The animal shelter is what popped into my head when I read volunteer. He loves people with four legs.:dog: :dog2: pug: :dogdance: :cat: :squirrel:

Sounds like my mom. I like the animal idea!

Empress midian - I can't figure out how to search to find her specifically...

chicken!

Maybe Don knows! Maybe it's the same as Mob Wars. They seem very similar.

Speaking of this and other medical issues. If you have a medical condition that "could" require medical attention, you should fill out a medical form. If you need one, just email me. Those on insulin need to have a sharps container and a refrigerator which you can only get with a medical form. We need to note your reservation. Allergies too. You wouldn't want something to happen and the medical staff onboard to not know what is wrong when a simple form could have taken care of the problem.

Tracy to the rescue. I swear she's faster than Superman!

Emiel is a diabetic but a type 2 and as of right now just on pills.

We
discovered that he is diabetic just the end of Oct. and still learning how to handle this and turn our lives up side down, but this is working for him (and me).

You'll find the right rhythm and what works and doesn't, mostly because you are doing it together. He is a lucky man to have such a loving wife. :lovestruc

I have a pump, so I don't take shots. It looks like a beeper (old school) and works like a portable IV/insulin drip. I can pretty much live like the rest of the "un-sweetened" population.

Can I stick you with a needle anyway?

Talk about your bad days....

My DD has been calling me on her way to class this morning. There was a major accident right in front of her, due to the icy roads. She went to try to turn around, and got stuck in a ditch when she slid off the road. Finally, the emergency workers who weren't working on the major accident came over and helped her out of a ditch. She calls me to tell me that she's back on the road going to class...and someone just crashed into her. It sounded like she backed into her...I'll be back later.

Oh Mindy hope she is O.K. :goodvibes
Talk about having a bad day.
The important thing is that she is O.K.
Will be waiting to hear.

So was the incident you had last week - was that from the diabetes or was that something totally different?

Don't mind me, I'm just being nosy!!

The best hypothesis that has been reached is a touch of the flu + a mild case of food poisoning, which threw off my insulin absorption; thereby putting me into a terrible tailspin. It was some much more than just continued high blood sugar and keto-acidosis. I know what I feel like and what happens when I don't take enough insulin (been in hospital for that, too). This was different. Just have to not be so stubborn when I start getting sick and go to the ER sooner rather than trying to take care of it myself. My mother and the doctors read me the riot act about that.

Thanx for the compliments....

I have not, and quite honestly I've been afraid to ask!

Come, come to the dark side....;)

Listen to your Mama!

LOL:rotfl:
Careful...your face is gonna stick that way!!!:crazy2:

Good comeback!:thumbsup2

Right now, its about 50 - but it's a damp 50 so it feels much, much colder. And it's actually supposed to drop down into the 30s this weekend and next week!!

It's been an exceptionally cold winter everywhere!!

Ok that is cold for California.

I'm quite convinced I could do it by talking to myself.:goodvibes :goodvibes :lmao: :goodvibes

You said it not us.:rotfl2:

i probably gonna take some wine aboard with me for all of us to enjoy.
Tracy and everybody else what kind of wine do you prefer??
Red or White and then Dry or Sweet???

Hey I tried this wine the other day for the first time. :)
Martini & Rossi Asti
Sparkling wine: Product of Italy
This was a very nice white wine and I think it will be my new regular wine from now on. :thumbsup2 Has anyone else tried this wine?

Good!! Sounds like you deserved the riot act!!!! If we would have known, you would have been getting it from us too!!

What matters is that they found the problem and you are feeling better!!

And you're back driving us crazy!! :lmao: :flower3:

DD's fine...not sure about the girls in the first accident. She says she heard them screaming as they tried to get them out of the car.

The second accident was nothing more than a fender-bender...she was just an emotional wreck from the first one. I'll be spending the afternoon getting appraisals and filling out forms...nothing more traumatic than that. Oh, and dealing with the drama princess....

That's great that she is O.K
Guess we can let her be a drama queen for the day.
She deserves it. What a day.
