We had a deer on our porch earlier in the year. The colder it gets the closer they come. Lots of cardinals in the yard this morning, I almost ran to get my camera then remembered that I was lazy.

I have never seen a Cardinal. I bet they are gorgeous against the snow.

Yes, they are! There was a couple males and about 10+ females. Next time I'll grab the telephoto lens.

Here's our babies in the snow a few nights ago and this morning...
Well this one is not outside, but you can see what they look like...

I love your fur babies! We have been thinking of getting a puppy. DD has been working hard on trying to persuade us, but I have a 14 year old toothless, sometimes anorexic, rather large feline who is rather set in her ways. I think we must wait a while longer. And my parents are still willing to pet sit the cat for WDW trips - other than long hair she is still pretty low maintenance.

This thread has gotten crazy. I can't even keep up. Life has gotten busy with our school carnival. I'm crabby about it, because I don't like doing other people's jobs. I volunteer a lot, but don't like to do something because someone else has dropped the ball.

On a good note, we are done selling Girl Scout Cookies. Em sold 230 boxes. Anyone want to help me deliver?

I want a puppy now more than ever!! DH wants to wait until after the cruise.

Your fubabies are adorable!

Oh my Todd. Your furbabies are so cute.

Totally OT The strangest thing happened when I was pregnant with my son. I had always been very allergic to dogs. Not sure how or why but when I was pregnant I noticed I could be in the same room as a dog with no reaction. Well even after having my son I could snuggle with my Mom's dog. So I now have a dog. His name is Jack and he is the sweetest dog.

Here is what I make for the Super Bowl. It's quick, easy, and yummy. And easy to make lower fat without sacrificing any taste. I don't even bother with the tomato and onion on top - I just put salsa on instead.

Chili-Cheese Dip

Wow. A cheese fountain....that could only be topped if it were chocolate. That makes me want dinner now.

Minus the onions as DH is allergic.

I am starving now. I guess I am going to have make myself dinner after all.

I missed a couple pages. I hope I didn't miss anything too important.
