Giant Favor to Ask of my Fellow Cruisers!!

If it's not too much trouble, I need all of y'all to pretend I didn't go to Mousefest this past year. It is sort of complicated but I didn't tell my parents that I was going to Mousefest and they still don't know and they will be on the cruise with us. (You would think a "29" year old wouldn't need to tell her parents where she went but my mom freaks if I don't tell her when I go out of town - don't ask.)

I'm not a very good liar so if it comes up at all and I can't distract my mother just say it was Mousefest 2007 (which I attended.)

Re: Diet drinks. I don't drink them... ever. I am allergic to aspartame. I occasionally drink a Pepsi or a Mountain Dew, but I am not much of a pop drinker.

Speaking of pop... what do you call it where you live? Pop? Soda?

I usually generalize it and call everything a Coke. As I am pulling a Pepsi out of the case, I will ask the hubby, "do you want a Coke?" He is a Coke drinker, not a fan of Pepsi, so this confuses him to no end.

Here's what I know so far:

Todd keeping list of events on an outspread sheet, Post-master General.

Alicia reads UG, accesses info very quickly.

Lots of talk about Twilight & other books (note to self: read Twilight series before cruise)

Aaron, , Don offering Brandie 9 pts for AKL extra night- Jen gave 'em or sold 'em, DH Matt likes deluxe-or-nothing (as do I), now (as of pg 81) at OKW, probably in the room we changed OUTTA to go back to BWV post-cruise!!

Jiggling and dangling going on, but boxer briefs are a good compromise.

Authentic Kim's (chirurgeon) carbon monoxide detector went off, fire trucks came... Scary!

Some jerk came in and tried to ruin thread, got deleted... Sup wit dat??

My back hurts and eyes are tired but I'm determined to get through at least pg 100 before bed. Now off to watch DVRing "Heroes"

Soda-Outside of club soda with my vodka or tequila, I don't drink it. I can count on one hand the number of sodas I've had in the past 10 years. Oh, it's soda where I'm from.

I need shopping help! I am so clueless when it comes to shopping. I am trying to find a nice dress for dress up night. I want something that is springy and not black. I am a plus size and can't find anything I like that isn't outrageously expensive. Could someone please give me some websites that has cute dresses?

Well, folks, I'm gonna go take a shower, climb into bed and relax with my very own (first printing/hardcover) copy of Breaking Dawn and eat my last 2 Lindor dark chocolate truffles. Mmmmm. Heaven. G' night all.

I am re-reading Breaking Dawn now.

Absolutely nothing flattering at either of those places for us big girls. Talbots has a nice plus department, and Coldwater Creek carries the larger sizes in catalog. But I'm still looking.

I found an incredibly Mimi Bobeck-esque shirt at Macy's yesterday, though...almost bought it in honor of my FW friends...

I am hoping that by the time the lightsaber comes out Mom and Dad will be back in the cabin or distracted so I can drink without worry. If not there is always Plan B - lie more to cover my butt. But as I said, I am not the greatest liar in the world, hence the conspiracy. (Sounts like I am Oliver Stone trying to make a movie or something. )
