I would love to go alone, but my DH would freak out. I would take my 4 year old by myself. I think they fact that I am not scared at all scares him.

Dh and I are both big Disney Lover's.
If either one of us tried to go without the other there would surly be a death.

Awww...what a sweet thing to say! If i'm not at MF, it just means that we would know that we would be heading to China to meet our daughter! So while I love you guys bunches...like Todd said, my reason for potentially missing MF is an important one!

But once we've finished our adoption...look out!! You guys won't be able to resist the powers of my DD...


Besides...i'm sure you'll be sick of me by the time this cruise is over and done with anyway...

If budget isn't an issue or both trips work out to be the about the same given the diff in airfare vs on-site WDW hotels, etc. how about going to the one your family goes to less often? That might make it feel more special to her since she sees it less. Of course, if you're weather sensitive then DL will prolly be better in early Sept.

I have a suggestion, but it involves a set up and is ruthless! They sell this stuff to stop kids from sucking their thumb - the solution is harmless but is the WORST tasting bitter stuff imaginable Brush it on your older son in a place where the younger son usually bites when he doesn't get his way. Then have your older son play with the coveted toy (or whatever) and when bossy lil bro demands it, older bro refuses to give it up. Hopefully (just this one last time!) lil bro will try to chomp older son. The taste is instant and terrible and will stop lil bro from EVER trying it again. This is dastardly , I know but like you say, it's unacceptable and the kid is 6. Now, don't ask how I know what that stuff tastes like

Not to spoil the party but I think it was a mktg gimmick. Everyone who signed up gets one but it's only 1/household so they're banking on a lot of extra sales from family/friends who go together. I got one too but I signed up the next day...pretty inconceivable that 100K didn't beat me to it

I definitely agree, but it is still one ticket we don't have to buy. We were planning on checking out Harry Potter when it opened. It will be open by December right?

I think they're talking 2010 for HP. We've gone twice on comped tickets so if we have to actually buy 3 tickets this time, that's not so bad.

I guess we won't be able to use them for Harry Potter, but there are still a lot of rides I like there. My son has never been there and he is getting old enough to enjoy it. I am also excited to ride the Rip Ride Rockit.

Even so, I don't think it will bring a lot of people that wouldn't have gone anyway. At least for me its a free ticket that I don't have to buy now.
