First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise, 11th and Final Thread

I just wanted to post and let everyone know that I have changed our parasailing to the 9 am. This way John and I can do the Palo brunch.
I will miss not doing it with my Dis buddies. :thumbsup2

Katherine, I just changed to 9 am too. So we can do it together. That way I won't have to run to change for Palo.

See you on Saturday, if not before. I am going to MK on Thursday after I get in and Epcot on Friday.

No problem Katherine. I knew this was going to happen once things started getting finalized and folks had to change. nobody seemed to notice that I cancelled parasailing completely.

Where is magnet boy anyway? :)

Jaime and I will be in Epcot Friday too!!!

Good afternoon all!!!

Just curious if anybody knows if there is Lemonade Light onboard??

TIA

Geez, I am in a rambling mood today :) Anyway, I actually have a shipboard question. Is anyone bringing a little purse/murse with them for the day while we are onboard? I generally don't wear my glasses all the time but I want them with me and I NEED reading glasses so, I think I will need to have a small bag with me. Now I need to go through the purse stash to find a small crossbody bag.

Kim

I usually just wear a lanyard with a pouch to hold my room key and any receipts I accumulate. I do bring a very small purse for formal/dress up night. My mom carried her purse the entire time we were on our last cruise. I enjoy the freedom of not needing my purse. A small cross body bag is a good idea. You won't have to hold onto it or worry about accidentally leaving it somewhere.

I use a lanyard thing at all times except for dinner, when I transfer to a small (TINY) purse - the kind that holds a cellphone and some credit cards. I use the cellphone part for my camera.

I noticed

And you will be missed as well.

The purse I bought is tiny also. It is basically a wallet with a clutch strap. It is much cheaper than I want it to be, but I can't find anything better.

Anyone bringing a ShamWow? :lmao:

O.k. that's gross Love Bugs on everything. Ewwwwwwwwwwww

Enough is enough what is that 3 inches of snow. Double Ewwwwwww

Never mind chaging the ADR.

Yeah I'm ready to get out of here! I hope that is the last snow I see till winter.

My BFF's grandson was with me at WDW in September when the love bugs were out. He asked me how come they had two heads. :scared1: I laughed and told him they were called love bugs and that was two bugs not one. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Oh the look on his face was priceless. He did not want them near him after that.

If John is going to hang out on shore and watch you two, I'll hangout with him.

I know I've posted this information a few times before, but I was THRILLED to see when checking NASA's website that, at least for right now, a shuttle launch is still scheduled for the time period of our trip.

Date: May 11
Mission: STS-125
Launch Vehicle: Space Shuttle Atlantis
Launch Site: Kennedy Space Center Launch Pad 39A
Launch Time: 2:01 p.m. EDT
Description: Space Shuttle Atlantis will fly seven astronauts into space for the fifth and final servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. During the 11-day flight, the crew will repair and improve the observatory's capabilities.

Of course, we'll be in Nassau and some of us will be in the Martini tasting at this point, but who knows? Maybe we'll be able to see something.

Just a reminder for anyone travelling on Southwest - don't forget to check-in for your flights 24 hours ahead of time! (I forgot to do this last time. Now I have this HUGE note on my computer so I don't forget this time).

I bought a black satin Pirates in the Caribbean purse awhile back. I will be using that for dinner on the cruise. Other wise I use a lanyard for my room key.

I am way to pumped as well. I leave Friday am and there is way too much to do let alone do work as well. I think we are all in the too excited to sleep mode.

Still one of my fav Disney commercials

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b95oyhSd5ls

It's right up there with the cruise line commercial that has the little girl in the elevator referring to her little brother as a special "souviner" from the trip.:rotfl:

Jen has one of those little "souviners"!! :lmao:

On one of my packing lists it says "address labels for disembarkation"
What are they for? Are they labels I should address to myself???

Yes, I'll be bringing a small purse (it has a shoulder strap).
