T minus 4 days to departure... Much to do for a Sunday, but NOT AT ALL UNHAPPY TO BE DOIN' CRUISE PREP!!!

Pixie Dust and Prayers needed...

8 weeks ago, my cousin was playing with his daughter, tripped over a toy and fell down the stairs. He has been in a coma since. He is showing no signs of brain activity and has developed pneumonia. His family has decided to remove his feeding tube and the doctors say it will just be a matter of days before his body shuts down.

He is young... 39.

I am heartbroken. Chances are, he will pass while we are on vacation. I have all kinds of guilt about leaving town. I can't get motivated to pack or do anything else vacation related because I can't stop thinking about Muppy (his nickname), his parents, brother, wife and daughter.

If you can spare a good thought or two for Muppy, I would appreciate it.

Thanks so much, everyone, for the thoughts, hugs, prayers and pixie dust for Muppy and our family. I appreciate it so very much.

He is still fighting... and I am finding great comfort knowing that several of Muppy's organs will be donated to help other families.



I'm going to make some tea and flip between the Blackhawks and NASCAR and work on my FE gifts.

My thoughts are with you...

What you fail to mention is that the airport is a 45 min drive at full speed, no traffic.
This means we would have to leave at 7am.
BUT! That is the height of rush hour, so 6am is more realistic.
Therefor we must get up at 5am to get ready and go.
Parking for 2 weeks will run me about $120, the same price as the room.
Leave the room at 7:30am.
A win/win situation, and no chance of being late.

If you are lucky!

We fly out of Buffalo so we are headed there Thursday night for our early morning Friday flight!!!

The dog started running and barking in his sleep at 3:30 this morning. I managed to semi sleep through noise (he lays against the closet door so that rattles when he runs) until 5:00 and gave up. What I wouldn't give to sleep in until 6:30
