Hi folks

Just looking for a wee bit of information if you can. :teeth:

I have booked with First Choice leaving 15th June for 14 nights staying at the Comfort Inn near Universal.

I'm looking to see if anyone else has travelled with First Choice recently and how they enjoyed the flight I'm considering upgrading to Star Premier but I'm not sure whether its worth the £320.

Also has anyone else stayed at the Comfort Inn and how did you find it for getting out and about - we haven't hired a car.

Can anyone help out?

TIA xxx

my parents flew first choice star premair in december and loved it

we tend to hire a car as its so much easier to get around, but you can use buses and theres always mears taxis,

Hi

We used first choice last september and we loved them too! we got 2+2 window seats and had stacks of leg room, comfy seats, good entertainment and excellent service from the crew. Had a walk through star premier and yes they have even bigger seats but we didn't think there was any need to upgrade. Actually the standard cabin was less than half full and premier was full, so we felt better off.

Can't fault first choice at all, wish the other companies would take note (I never said TCD......!)

Looking at prices for Aug 07 with them.......

Have not travelled on First Choice's new plane layout, but have travelled on their previous Premium service and it was good.

Just come back from orlando and stayed at Comfort Suites on Turkey Lake Road. If this is the place you are staying you will need a car or taxis as it is not near any shops or restaurants. It is a nice place however with warm pool, hot tub, free continental breakfast and nice pool bar with happy hours.

If this is the place and you want to know anything more let know and I will do my best.

   We used them last June the cabin crew are amazingly good, food vey tasty even DH enjoyed it (he doesn't eat cheese or tomatoes) they even do great kids meals . In flight entertainment was amazing lovely film choices tv programmes etc even stuff for the kids to watch AND all on lovely 9inch seat back tvs :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 with decent headphones (had to hand them back in at the end of the flight)Brilliant service from start to end :teeth: :teeth: :goodvibes :goodvibes :cloud9: :cloud9:   Don't forget the lovely leg room too it really makes a difference!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I think the seat pitch is 36 inches instead of 33 but the seats are wider too so you don't end up squashed up :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I think that's the size of the premier seats 36" and the standard are 33". 'Normal' standard on other airlines range from 29 to 31 - I think BA and Virgin are 31. I'm sure my last TCD flight had 21!! Only joking but they were tight!!

In my opinion the standard first choice were more than adequate and I didn't feel the need for another 3" in premier, but you have to weigh up the other advantages like menu and I think a better entertainment choice. Again, our food was the best we've had on a flight and the kids got a special pack with theirs and got served first as we'd ordered a kids meal. The movies and other programmes were more than enough to keep us occupied too.

Thanks so much for your replies. Methinks I will save the £321 and buy myself a little something special when I'm there :goodvibes
