First child on Dumbo each day???

I think I read somewhere about a character riding with the first child of the day in line for Dumbo, or is it my imagination? I can't find anything when I search the archives. Any help?

I never heard that for Dumbo. However, Goofy does ride the rollercoaster in Toontown with one child on the first ride of the day. In January my dd (celebrating her 7th birthday) was lucky enough to get picked. It was the highlight of her trip.

My little guy has been on the first Dumbo flight of the day three or four times over the last few years. There's never been a character on the ride.


We did get to ride the Magic Carpet ride with Genie and Aladdin on our last trip, but that was in the middle of the afternoon.

we have been there when Mickey or Minnie rode with someone in the first grouping of the day (not necessarily the first in line, just the first loading group), but I think that they make an effort to "mix it up" as far as characters riding the rides. I've seen different ones out at different times of the day on different rides. My middle DS rode the Pooh ride with Tigger once, and my youngest rode the Barnstormer with Goofy in October
