I have been toWDW many times but always with the kids and grandkids. So I no all the Character and kid friendly places very well. But I have a trip plannrd with my 4 sidters in October. We are staying at the Beach club Villas with possibly a split stay at The Bay Lake Towers. :cool1::cool1:

I am rally looking forward to this and 2 of my sisters have never even been there. Can you give me some ideas for 7 nights of some good restaurants to try. I would like a good Italion Restaurant choice in the mix if you no of any. Years ago I did eat at the restaurant in Italy but I heard it is no longer there?

We are getting the Disney Dining plan while we are there to make it easier.

Sounds like a wonderful time!! You will probably get lots of opinions but I would vote for a visit to Flying Fish and Cali Grill. FF is close to BC on the boardwalk and Cali Grill is in the Contemporary. Both very good and more "adult". Both are 2 pts. on the ddp. Fo Italian,Tutto Italia is in Epcot World Showcase, it is very good and a beautiful place to dine. It is only 1 pt. on the ddp.

Ok, so how about a mix of fun and quality restaurants? Are you guys doing the dining plan? I'm going to put in a few suggestions of Signature dining and a few that aren't and you can mix it up!

Tutto Italia - there's your Italian restaurant! I haven't been yet but it's supposed to be very good, it's expensive though if paying OOP. On the dining plan it's 1 credit.

Flying Fish - We're going here in February and can't wait! It's right on the Boardwalk so should be very convenient for you staying at the Beach Club! Maybe a good first night meal. That's our first night meal! Signature so 2 credits.

50's Prime-Time at DHS - I bet you and your sisters would love this! Home style cooking and should be a lot of fun for you all!

O'Hana - should be lots of fun for you and served family style. You can watch Wishes from the beach behind the Poly after dinner as well!

The Wave - I hear wonderful things!

Kona Cafe - Tuna Oscar is to die for!!!

Cape May Buffet - Supposed to be wonderful and a good selection, since it's at the Beach Club would be very convenient for you!

California Grill - Signature dining. I would love to do this on a date night with DH, more adult but still fun!

Yachtsmen Steakhouse, is close to BC and supposed to be fantastic!

Here are the restaurants we did on my Adults only trip:
The Wave - wonderful! A definite must do
Les Chef de France - Very nice, good food, glad I did it, I'd like to try othr places I haven;t been before going back.
Cafe May dinner - had ADR for Boma, but finished AK early and got that last minute. Again it was nice, I like seafood so it hit the spot, but I'd rather check out new places before visiting again.

i just came back from an adults' (women) only trip and we did the mix of fun and grown-up restaurants...
we kicked off our trip w/'ohana dinner... started at the bar w/a lapu-lapu and ended with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the MK... dinner was awesome and the view spectacular!

we had b'fast w/the princesses at akershus... great fun... nice conversations with the princesses... different experience than with children but great fun and good food for sure!

we enjoyed a more grown up dinner at les chefs de france in epcot... the food was outstanding, the service impeccable... we even enjoyed helping the couple next to us entertain their two little ones!

we threw in a few counter service meals for b'fast and lunch and did some sharing so we could try a few different cuisines and places...

next dinner was at kouzzina on the b'walk... the food was top-notch... sangria just right... service was a bit lacking but we maanged to overlook it and enjoy ourselves! walking the boardwalk after dinner was nice, esp w/no kids asking for money for the carnival games! LOL!

we ended our trip w/dinner at CRT... it was unintentional, as we had planned to go to narcoosees but when we realized we had no energy left for going back to the resort and changing clothes and coming back for dinner, we poked our heads into CRT and they were able to seat us on the spot... so i asked them to cancel our narcoosees and we enjoyed an amazing meal with awesome service... we were next to a window and the atmosphere was perfect!

Sounds like a great trip....

For great Italian, head over to the Swan resort and eat at IL Mulino.

Blue Zoo at the Dolphin is very good for dinner.

For other great sitdown dinners....Flying Fish (Boardwalk). If you can't get reservations, you can walk in and sit right at the bar, they serve the full menu.

Wave (contemporary), very good.

We like almost all the restaurants in the world showcase for lunch, except Le Cellier and Rose and Crown.

Raglan Road and House of Blues in Downtown Disney are very good for lunch or dinner.

Le Bistro (upstairs in EPCOT/France) is always a treat.

Don't forget to have cocktails in the new Tequila bar, EPCOT/Mexico if you like margaritas.
