Well, it might be too late for Texas but I think they will be in New Mexico by tomorrow night. I bet they serve some great margaritas in Santa Fe! ;)

I love the cow furniture underneath the margarita - everything about that picture screams "Texas" to me. :thumbsup2

Just a reminder that Becky and Charlie are arriving at the Beach Club tomorrow and Becky will be doing some live updates for us. :cool1:

BlovesC - B (Becky) & C (Charlie) will be celebrating C's birthday at WDW from 9/9 - 9/11. They are staying at the BC, of course! ;) Here is Becky's PDR.

This just in from Becky (BlovesC), who checked into the Beach Club this morning...

Coffee Mocha Cupcake from the Boardwalk Bakery

"Also found these guys in the Beach Club Marketplace. Didn't buy any, but I know they have fans mourning their removal from Cape May.
Six to a package...couldn't find a price though!"

Oreo BonBons (previously served dessert at Cape May Buffet Dinner)

ADDED NOTE FROM jabead: I myself have never tried these, as I've never been to Cape May for dinner.
So I wanted to see just what these looked like, outside of the package.

I'd have to say that these look pretty good, but not as good as Becky's Boardwalk cupcake. :thumbsup2

The No Way Jose looks yummy!!

So I have a Dilemma... Since I know all the top WDW foodies follow this thread I thought I would ask it here!!

I booked the Citrico's Signature Lunch (one of the F&W Signature events)on Oct 19th and now I'm not sure if I should still have Dinner there on October 14th? If I skip the dinner I'm not sure what to book in its place??? I already have dinners other nights for Via Nappoli, Flying Fish, California Grill, HDDR, Artist Point, Yachtsman and V&A! Any suggestions for where else we should try for dinner?!?! Narcossee's is out as hubby is allergic to most seafood... We will have spent the day in MK.

Thanks for any opinions... Hope you don't mind I posted here Barb!

I really want that No Way Jose right now but I'm thinking driving 7 hours for one & turning around might be a bit much :)
Fwiw, I didn't like the Oreo bon-bons!

Is your husband so allergic that he can't even be around seafood? We really enjoyed Narcoossees and DS and I don't eat much seafood either.

What about The Wave? Since you will be at MK, it is convenient and I think it is a great non-signature restaurant.

He can be around it but can't have any. I just looked at the menu for Narcossess and I just don't feel giving him only 1-2 options to choose from is really fair. At least with bluezoo they have a bunch of white fish options that he could choose. Its mostly the crustaceans, salmon, clams, mussels, lobster etc he can't have.

I will have to look at the wave again. Did you go this trip? I just hear so many reviews that are hit and miss with the place!

How about Grand Floridian Cafe? I've only been there for breakfast myself, but it seems to be getting good reviews here lately. Or maybe switching your Kona lunch to dinner, and then having lunch at either GFC or doing the afternoon tea at the Garden View Lounge as your lunch...one of my personal favorites! :thumbsup2

Good to hear!! The wave is in contention...

I know!! My BAD. I AM SO SORRY!! Must be my lack of sleep getting to me.

I actually don't have Kona lunch scheduled right now. Just breakfast.

My top contenders for meals yet to book are Kona, the Wave, and GFC, all sound good. Kona I think has the most options for my hubby to eat but I haven't checked out the Wave menu recently. Also thinking Wolfgang Puck Express....

The second week I've left quite a few breakfast and lunch spots open to kind of choose what we want and fit in more F&W tasting time if we need it. I know I should have tentative plans made as I know my hubby will NOT want to hear... "What do you want to eat" lol. He would prefer it to be all set!

I recognized the Beaches and Cream floor right away! Yay for a delicious sundae start there. Everyone seems to love the No Way Jose - it'll have to go on my "eventually" list. :thumbsup2

I'd heard rumors that the oreo bon bons would soon be available for purchase at the Marketplace. I'm glad those rumors were true, since now they'll be much more accessible (I also haven't tried them before). :)

Kona, The Wave, and GFC are all good options! All three of those restaurants are kind of like 'siblings'. They're all on the monorail line, they're all casual, à la carte, 1-credit TS restaurants (although the Wave also offers a breakfast buffet alternative), and they all serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Kona is probably my least favorite of the three, but it seems to be the most popular here. Overall, I'd pick based on whichever menu you feel like. :goodvibes

Oh my gosh! You have no idea how happy I am to see those in a package at the bakery!!!

Those things are heaven, and trust me, they are better than any cupcake Disney has to offer!!
