Good morning all. How was your weekend???? Mine was wonderful.

Yesterday I did the new firm hips, thighs and abs workout. This workout was led by Pam Meriwether. This was an interesting workout. It was like yoga/pilates with the sculpting stick. That's all that was used. It was slow movements with and without the sculpting stick. It's a wonderful slow workout for when you don't want to work up a sweat but still want to tone your lower body. It is broken up between the lower and the abs. Nice workout

Today was the new firm complete body sculpting with Christa Riley. This was my first time working out with her. It was a wonderful workout. There was only 2 sets of weights used. I used 12 and 8. Lots of tempo variations and I just loved the aerobics parts of the tape. Lots of tempo changes especially with the leg presses. I loved the squats. So far this is my favorite workout. It was a nice pace with new moves that allowed me to really concentrate on my muscles.

O.k., I've reviewed all the tapes. I say you should get them if you can. It will add new dimension with your workouts. BTW, they are adding 5 tapes when you get the system now. I just ordered 3 more. So, the are really giving you more. However, I think it comes with the sculpting stick so check it out.
 
Thanks for reviews Sheree! I would love to get these work outs. A Firm friend of mine at work brought in one of the new tapes for me to check out and I'm so excited I might try it tonight even though I don't have the new box or the sculpt stick.

This morning I did cardio sculpt blaster. I just didn't feel like a long work out this morning, nor did I have the time and this one was perfect. I'm down 2 pounds as of Saturday and that brings my total weight loss to 78.5 pounds. I'm just 4 pounds from onderland. Woohoo!!!

Thanks so much Sheree for the support! I haven't been at this weight in all my adult life! In anticipation of onderland, I put 199 pounds on my license when I renewed back in May, hoping to hit 199 sometime in September and it looks like I'll make it!!! Woohoo!!!

Well, I went home tonight and put in the new firm hips, thighs and abs workout. This workout was led by Pam Meriwether as Sheree mentioned in her review. How right she is that this is an interesting work out. I thought I was in fair shape but boy oh boy was I wrong. My legs and thighs are like jello right now. I feel sore in places I didn't even know existed! It was fun though, tough but fun! I have racked up another 26 minutes toward my work out total for August so now I'm just 12 minutes away from 1,000 minutes exercised in August and I'll finish up tomorrow morning with the upper body portion of super body sculpt.
 

:rotfl: Like jello huh. Mine did too. I thought I was doing well. That workout had my legs shaking.

It's funny. I was just wondering why my sides were hurting so much. It almost hurts to breathe. I was thinking, what did I do today??? It was that darn workout. She has it to where you are doing a cross over move down towards the six inch box. You are punching down toward the box in the opposite direction. That' what must have done it. OUCH!!!! Boy do they hurt. Laughing or any kind of movement sends it into pain.

Lisa, you are my inspiration in case I haven't said so. When I hear of what you do, you push me even harder. You keep it up. Onderland here you come

Sorry I haven't been posting- I have been reading and cheering you all on from here though!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Last night was Allie and Cardio Sculpt.

I can't believe August is almost over! This has been the slowest month in terms of weight loss for me- but I can tell I am getting stronger and have more stamina- I don't get as winded during walking and treadmill work. I have been eating a few to many snacks- gonna watch that in Sept.::yes::

Sheree- Thanks for the review on BSS3 - I swear I'm not gonna get it yet coz I just got a whole bunch of the old Firm tapes I'm gonna start- but you are making it sound so tempting. Except for the hurting all over part!:teeth:

Lisa- I am just waiting on pins and needles for you to hit Onderland! Its gonna be one heck of a party I know. You have worked so hard-it will be another shining star in your journey!

Tracy- Hey girl! I have been neglecting my journal and yours :( . Hoping to do some catch up this week. Great work on keeping up the workouts- you really inspire me!

Thanks so much to each of your for your support. I didn't think my making onderland would be a big deal toanyone but me but as usual my WISH buddies are cheering me on and are as excited for me as if it was happening to each of you! What a great bunch of ladies you all are!!!!

This morning I did the upper body portion of super body sculpt and hit my 1,000 minutes of exercise for August. Don't ya' just love my new goal clippie? I even went over by 7 minutes! On to the August challenge.

Sheree - you say I inspire you? Well let me tell you, you are an inspiration to me and all of us! Sometimes when I think about skipping a work out, I think of you and how you cheer me on and set such a great example. It's so nice to have people like you around here!!!!! I'm still a bit sore this morning but I feel loser somehow and I feel like I walk a bit taller and straighter. I hate to give this video back to my friend. But I must! :hyper:

Tracy - it sounds like you're doing great! Keep it up! I've been neglecting everyone's journals lately including my own. I've got to stop by and check on you soon. Take care!

gadizlover - great job with cardio sculpt. Allie is my all time favorite instructor and I think I'll add this one to my rotation this week. Thanks for the support and encouragement. I'm so close to being under 200 pounds that I can almost taste it!!!! I'll definitely make a post when I hit that magical number!

Hello all. Just wanted to check in real quick. Today is a rest day. 6 days in a row is a lot. Went to the firmdirect website to get a rotation calendar for September. I'm gonna be busy in September. I wouldn't have it any other way.:teeth:

Zera'spride, I am really proud of you for reaching goal. Now that we are all so healthy we really do have to plan that get together next spring.

As for the tape with Pam Merriweather I was wondering why she looked so familiar on the infommercial, she leads one of the older tapes I have so it's really nice to see someone who has been with it for so long.

Yesterday was CSB with Allie and today I did the tv show as I slept late. Tomorrow it's back to Nancy need a burger.

FIRMIES!
Arrived home last night at 9 PM. Can't believe two weeks went so quickly.
I had mixed results with my workouts, throughout the trip. The first 5 days we were moving from college to college, Best Western to Best Western. None of them had VCRs or a workout room, so no FIRMing, but alot of walking, thanks to campus tours. We stayed at a Wingate for one night & it had a workout room. I used my weights & followed the print out of Stephanie's "travel" routine.
Once we arrived at WDW, we stayed at the new Saratoga Springs resort & Spa. They had a great workout room, but no VCR/DVD in it. We had a DVD player in the living room of our unit & I used my new 3-in-1 DVD to do Ab Sculpt & Body Sculpt. I managed 5 workouts, in addition to mega-WDW walking.
This AM, it was back to Cardio Sculpt Blaster. I actually missed this workout, during my vacation.
I didn't have the strength to weigh myself this AM. DH & I stayed pretty much "on program" with lots of salads. We splurged on some desserts, but many of them were shared.
While I was away, my neighbor took delivery of my new BSS3. It came so quickly. I haven't had a chance to look it over, because I'm back to work already.
I wasn't able to get online during the trip, but just by reading the start of this thread, it sounds like you guys are doing great.
ONEDERLAND is just around the bend (No FIRM pun intended!) for you ZerasPride.
I don't know if I can get it together to try my new system tomorrow, but I'll try to review it.

Good morning all. Today was fat blasting cardio with Lisa. Wow this is a tough one for only 35 minutes. I was sweating all over the place. That must make it a good workout::yes::

I just wanted to let you all know that I was FIRMing right along side you all this morning! I pulled out CAWT and "got down with the Fanny Lifter" and Emily! I then added on just the cardio portion from MCB (Allie Fix!:rolleyes: ) for a really great workout!

I'm so glad you're all doing so well, and you guys have me thinking hard about BSS3...:scratchin

Just a heads up for anyone who is interested: The original founders of The FIRM (before it was sold to Good Times several years ago), Anna & Cynthia Benson and Mark Henriksen (sp.?) are now filming 12 new workouts with some "Classics" FIRM instructors and others. There's a lot of talk about them and everyone seems to be really excited--you may have read about these at the Ya Yas or VF. I probably won't be ordering all 12 (I preordered Cathe's new Hardcore series--KA-CHING! $$$), but I'm really anxious to see what they come up with. I remember renting all the FIRM Classics at Blockbuster 15 or so years ago and they always had great moves and were tough (if you can look past the leotards and legwarmers, they're still awesome workouts!) :p

LISA, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE 4 POUNDS FROM ONEDERLAND!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :hug: :love2:

Today I did my tv show and yesterday was a Nancy Tucker tape, body sculpt blaster. Can I whine! I swear I have gained 10 water pounds. I'm pmsing and taking out on anyone around me!!! Nothing fits right and whaa whaa whaa. OK better now see you I hope Saturday!
 
Good Thursday afternoon Firmies!

I didn't post yesterday but I did super cario sculpt yesterday. I usually don't do that one during the week because I only have about 30 minutes but I did it up until the leg presses at the end and it was a great work out.

Today I did Hips, Thighs & Abs again. I didn't do the ab section the other day so I added it this morning. Boy was that tough. I enjoyed it though and feel like I'm walking taller because of it! This work out belongs to my friend but she said I can keep it for a bit so I'm taking full advantage of it.

It sounds like everyone is doing a great job.

s&k'smom - Thanks so much for the congratulations but I'm not at goal yet. I've got a long way to go before I get there. I didn't mean to give that impression. I am more fit and healthy than I have ever been in my life but goal is at least another six months away.

Kim - thanks for your support. I can't wait to hit that magic number, 199 and then go all the way to goal of course. Great job with your work out, WISH-sis! It's nice to see you Firming with us!!!!

Yesterday, I did Body Sculpt Blaster w/ Nancy. This AM, it was Ab Sculpt. I looked over my new BSS3 - 5 new tapes, but I didn't have a chance to preview them. I plan on trying 1 or 2 new BSS3 workouts over the long weekend!

Zera, your so sweet, I am still very proud of you. Anyone who tried to make their life healthy is aces in my book.

Today I started working out but DS was up early. So hopefully tomorrow but DH is finallllllly painting the tv room so we'll see. I'm at my new job sneaking a bit of dissing so I'll see you guys Monday.
