FIRMIES!
Twenty six weeks = 1/2 year of FIRMing together!

I kept my personal challenge and exercised throughout the weekend. On Saturday AM, it was Cardio Sculpt. Sun. AM, I returned to an oldie but goodie- Upper Body from the FIRM Parts 4 pk. I changed from my usual routine of CA&WT on Sun. because my legs were bothering me & nothing like the thought of 2 weeks vacation, in sleeveless tops, to make you focus on your upper body. This AM was Cardio Sculpt Blaster w/ Lisa Kay. Unfortunately, it was not a great workout, because my mind was "somewhere else" i.e. random thoughts like has our sun block expired?
If all goes well, I'll squeeze in 30 minute workout tomorrow morning.

I am trying to get back on track with my workouts. I did the Upper Body portion of Kathy Smith Timesaver Weight workout and Cardio Sculpt Blaster this morning. Feel great!:teeth:

I know I firmed Sat but for the life of me I can't think of what it was. Oh I know it was body sculpt with Jen Carmen from the the 2nd set of tapes. Listen to this I broke my sculpting stick. I can't figure what I did but I managed to brake it! Today I went for a job. It was wonderful. Maybe about 3/4 a mile and I wasn't that winded which I contribute to all the firming we have done. I want to shake up my exercise as I am feeling very down about not working and it's beginning to wear on me. But at least we are down to double digits for our trip! See you guys tomorrow.
 
Happy 6 month anniversary to all my Firm buddies!

What a great job everyone is doing! I didn't have a chance to post over the weekend, but Saturday I did the entire 55 minute cardio sculpt with Allie, Sunday it was 25 minutes of super cardio sculpt with Nancy Tucker plus 2 10 minute walks and this morning it was cardio sculpt blaster with Lisa Kay. I will be adding 130 minutes to my August work out challenge.

Good morning firmies. I didn't workout yesterday. I took the day off. Today I did 30 minutes on the treadmill. I did 2.5 miles in that time. I was booking!! Then I came in and did body sculpt with Jen. I feel great, but sore. I haven't done the treadmill in a long time and to walk so fast, in such a short time, by the time I did body sculpt I was so sore.
 
FIRMIES!
Did I say I was going to squeeze in a workout this AM? I've been up since 3:30 AM & running around, like a nut, (maybe this counts for cardio) with last minute packing. All the while, I'm chanting, to myself, the AP renewal vouchers & DH's meds are the only "must have items" & anything else I forget is replaceable! We've packed the fanny lifter, 2 sets of weights, the 3-in-1 DVD & a VHS workouts. I've also printed two pages of travel workouts from the Firm Believer website. I'll probably get online from some of our stops, so I'll let you how the "travel exercise" is going.

Sueg I can't believe you packed all your firm stuff, you are amazing.

I went for another jog this am then did 20 pushups, ok I struggled and grunted but I did it. tomorrow is tough tape II but I am off to Walmart to shop for my brand new niece so if I see any bargains I'll let you know.
 
Mornin' Firmies!

This morning I did the entire super body sculpt work out with Stephanie Corley. I love it when I can get all three segments in at one time.

I am so happy this morning to be wearing my size 12 slacks to work! When I cut the tag off the pants this morning, I put it away instead of throwing it out. I intend to keep that tag to remind me how far I have come! I can't believe just 8 months ago I was wearing a size 26 pants and now I'm in a size 12. Woohoo!!!!

Sheree - great job on the treadmill. You were really moving out, and I'm so impressed that you followed up the treadie work with a Firm work out too! You go girlie!!!

sueg - have a great trip! What a wonderful idea to take all your Firm stuff with you. I'll try to follow your example when we go to Hilton Head in November. Please let us know when you get back if you were able to Firm while on vacation. Again, have a great time!!!!

s&k'smom - great job with the jogging and the pushups. I used to hate pushups but they are growing on me thanks to the push ups in the Firm tapes. Have a great day and I hope you find some bargains for the new little addition to your family!
 
Hi FIRMies!

Today was the Lower Body part of the Kathy Smith tape. Whew! A great workout! Tomorrow will probably be Calorie Killer since I have been short on cardio workouts lately. Oh... I also ordered Kathy Smith's Timesaver Cardio workout from one of the rewards programs I do. I am excited to get that one because each workout is 20 minutes: great for those days when you need a quick workout.::yes::

Today I got in tough tape two, I've discovered though I really like the workout the older tapes give you I'm not wild about how they seem to splice together different sections. Anyhow the other thing I was thinking is that the woman are all really flat chested, you can tell the silicon movement hadn't hit yet. Oh the things we think of at 5am!
 
Morning FIRMies!

Today was Calorie Killer. I only got through 1/2 of it though when my ankle started hurting pretty badly. Rather than risk further injury, I stopped. I'm going to try and walk it off later today (if the weather holds) and do Total Sculpt or Body Sculpt tomorrow. Have a great day!

Just now getting a chance to check in-
Monday was 20 minutes on the treadmill in the am
and Max Cardio Burn in the evening, got the footwork down much better.

Tues - 20 min treadmill, Body Scuplt with Jen- not as bad as I was thinking is was gonna be, but really had to push on the end of some of those leg lifts!

Wed- 20 min treadmill- probably Cardio Scupt tonight- maybe upper body of Body Scuplt or Ab Scupt.

I have ordered a set of tapes- The Firm Parts from Overstock yesterday. The bad thing is I can't find the set on the site anymore, I hope they don't cancel my order.:(

Hello all. Yesterday was a rest day. That treadmill and then the firm wore me out. So today was 48 minutes on the treadmill. I was so worn out, I didn't get in a firm workout:( Tomorrow, I will probably do a double. I'm trying to reach my goal. When I set out on the SBD journey, my goal was to reach 130. I'm now 9 pounds away from that and my birthday is Sept. 14th. I'm trying hard to get there, so keep cheering for me all.:Pinkbounc
 
BTW, did anyone else get the email about the new firm tapes being on special. In case you didn't, go check out the website. I believe tapes for Firm 3 are like 11.99 a piece

Today was Lower Body Sculpt 1 with Lisa. What a workout!!! I also started Ab Sculpt, but was too tired to finish. Maybe, I'll try it again this evening.

Hello Firmies!
Have not been able to check in the last few days- so playing catch up-


Wed ended up being a super exercise day- after the 20 min tread in the am- I walked for about 15 minutes at lunch ( it was freezing in the office and I was trying to defrost!)- then after dinner DS rode his bike and I walked and actually ran!:eek: a little! I didn't know I had it in me. I had to stop when anyone else came down the path, way too much jiggling going on:hyper: - but I can see that my exercising is increasing my stamina. :sunny:

Then that evening- Firmed with Allie Cardio Sculpt.


Thurs- 20 min treadmill- and Body Sculpt with Jen in the evening- I had a hard time with the lower body- I think I may have to have do this one after a rest day. I tried using some 2 lb weights on the lunges- and my knees feel ok today- so I may try that again.

Today- 20 min on the treadmill- not sure which tape to do tonight yet- Probably Max Cardio Burn.

What a great job you all are doing!

Yesterday I did cardio sculpt blaster and today I did super body sculpt and was able to do all three segments (upper body, lower body and abs). What a great work out!!!!

Sheree - thanks for the heads up about the videos being on sale. I didn't know about it. I am torn between adding on some Firm 3 work outs and adding a Cathe work out or two to my collection.

I did the firm maximum cardio burn today.

Lisa, I know what you mean. I have ordered the 3 system, but haven't received it, however, I also want to add Cathe. My workouts are getting extremely too easy. I need more of a challenge. My legs don't even burn when I do any of the weight tapes right now. Gotta do something new and quick
