Well, I finally have a VCR (thanks to my generous brother) and can get back to FIRMing. I took 3 days off and did Lower Body Sculpt 1 because that's the only DVD I have. Can't wait to get back in the groove!:hyper:

Good afternoon Firmies!

On Monday, I did cardio sculpt blaster with Lisa Kay in the morning and the ab portion of super body sculpt with Stephanie Corley.

This morning I did super body sculpt (upper body and lower body) with Stephanie and this evening I'll do the ab section.

Tracy - your brother is very generous! I'm glad you're back to Firming with us!

Sheree - thanks for starting this week's thread. I have to get back to Calorie Killer again. I keep making excuses and doing other tapes instead. I dread those leg presses!

CruisingCA - I love ab sculpt with Lisa Kay. Great job with your work out!!!!
 
Lisa, we are copying each other again. Today I did the entire super body sculpt with Stephanie. I really do like this workout, but all those squats
 
FIRMIES!
It has been a while since I've posted, but I've been FIRMing. After Fri. & Sat. as off-days, I did Cardio Sculpt w/ Allie on Sun. It was weird, because normally, after a rest day, I am very energized when I return to the FIRM. But after 2 days off, I was actually dreading my hour with Allie. Not a great workout, but I got thru the whole tape.
Monday is my traditional Cardio Sculpt Blaster day, my favorite workout. Again, I had a low energy workout & kicked my small step two times during the workout. I was dreading this AM, where I planned Body Sculpt Blaster. But the workout went OK, even the dreaded leg press w/ tempo variation.
I'm really not sure what is up. After over 2 years of FIRMing, I rarely take 2 days off in a row and I've never felt this way about my workouts. I'm sure the sleep disruptions don't help my energy level, but I'm having trouble deciding what to do. Time-off doesn't seem like the answer. Maybe shaking up the workout rotations. I think I'll chant the mantra that I learned from ZerasPride: Exercise is just something that you do, like paying bills. If I stick it out, the energy level will return.

Yesterday was Total Sculpt + Abs w/ Jen. I am sore today!:teeth: I may do Ab Sculpt later, but that will be the extent of my exercise today. Have a great day!

FIRMIES!
It's a rainy Wednesday in NJ. But I slept well last night & was able to do a pretty good job on Lower Body Sculpt I w/ Lisa Kay, one of my newest workouts. My legs may need a rest after three straight days of leg presses. So my plan is Ab Sculpt tomorrow. Hope the weather is better in your area.

Happy, wonderful but wet Wednesday Firmies!

Boy is it grey and cold today. It's more like late September/eary October weather here.

This morning I took a rest. My body has been aching so much from two works per day and I've been ignoring the signs. My legs have actually had uncontrolled spasms over the past few days but I'm ignoring it. Well this morning I decided I'd better take a break so I'll just be doing super body sculpt (the ab portion only) tonight.

I did try on the skirt to the black suit I hope to wear on Sunday and it fits a little bit better. It's the stupid lining in the skirt that makes me fee like I'm walking like Mortisha from the Addams Family but it's a little looser now so as of today, I'm wearing the suit on Sunday!

Sheree - it's funny how we end up doing the same work outs some days! I did super body sculpt (abs) last night so that means I completed the whole super body sculpt work out too. Woohoo!!

sueg - super cardio blaster is one of my favorite work outs too. I would normally have done it this morning but I just didn't think I should push myself. I will do an ab set tonight though. I hate when I struggle through a work out and am not rewarded with that "execise high". I know you'll get your mojo back and like we (and Nike) say, we have to "just do it"! You're doing a wonderful job and your example inspires all of us!

Tracy - good job for yesterday and your planned work out today. I enjoy ab scuplt. Is that the one with Lisa Kay? That's the one have. Do you have super body sculpt with Stephanie Corley? There's an ab section at the end of this one that is short but so intense, my abs are still sore from last night!

sueg - 3 straight days of leg presses? You are a work out beast!!! That is just great. I think between super body sculpt (lower body) and calorie killer, those leg presses are gonna be the death of me!!! I think that's one reason I havent done CK in a while. Anyway, you deserve to give your poor (but muscular, I'm sure) legs a break. Enjoy ab sculpt tomorrow!

Good morning! Just a quick post before my 9AM meeting (another meeting!). I did Ab Sculpt w/ Lisa Kay. Nice quiet little workout where I REALLY tried to concentrate on my form.

Monday was my rest day and Tues I did my tv show which I'm getting very blah over. yesterday was the killer body sculpt basic with oh Lord I'm having a brain melt. It's one of the older tapes with the girl with the long blond hair. Oh man it's a killer. If you ever want to give your workouts a real boost do a tape with her in it.

today was lower body sculpt as I needed a quick workout because I have tons to do today. I haven't been able to dis for a couple of days and I felt like I was going through withdrawal!
 
Good morning Firmies!

I'm off from work until Tueday (yay) but I still was up relatively early and did cardio sculpt blaster with Lisa Kay. I toyed with the idea of doing super cardio sculpt with Nancy Tucker but after last night's ab work out, I thought I should cut myself a litlte slack. I measured this morning and I have lost almot 5 inches for the month of July. Woohoo!!!! Next week I'll be back to weighing myself and hope to snag my 70 pound clippie.

sueg - I like ab sculpt with Allie too. It is a nice quiet work out and I'll have to remember to concentrate on my form when I work out. Sometimes I'm so busy just trying to keep up, I know I could do a better job with form. Have a great day!

s&k'smom - great job on your work outs all week. I don't have the work out you mentioned with the instructor with the long blond hair. It does like a killer. Can you give us the name when you remember? Thanks!! Have a good one.

Today was my Kathy Smith's Timesaver Weight Lifting workout. I really felt like I needed this today because lately I haven't felt strong. I really need to get back to a routine of FIRMing at least 4 times a week. ::yes::

Today was not a FIRM day for me, but I went for a walk/jog at a park near our home. It's humid and overcast, but it was peaceful and refreshing. Maybe, I'll add this in to the mix every Saturday as some down time from exercise.
