FIRMIES!
It has been a while since I've posted, but I've been FIRMing. After Fri. & Sat. as off-days, I did Cardio Sculpt w/ Allie on Sun. It was weird, because normally, after a rest day, I am very energized when I return to the FIRM. But after 2 days off, I was actually dreading my hour with Allie. Not a great workout, but I got thru the whole tape.
Monday is my traditional Cardio Sculpt Blaster day, my favorite workout. Again, I had a low energy workout & kicked my small step two times during the workout. I was dreading this AM, where I planned Body Sculpt Blaster. But the workout went OK, even the dreaded leg press w/ tempo variation.
I'm really not sure what is up. After over 2 years of FIRMing, I rarely take 2 days off in a row and I've never felt this way about my workouts. I'm sure the sleep disruptions don't help my energy level, but I'm having trouble deciding what to do. Time-off doesn't seem like the answer. Maybe shaking up the workout rotations. I think I'll chant the mantra that I learned from ZerasPride: Exercise is just something that you do, like paying bills. If I stick it out, the energy level will return.
