Wow! I can't believe we've been at this for so long! Can you guys believe it's been 21 weeks!!!! Awesome job Firmies!

This morning I did cardio sculpt blaster and yesterday I did the ab portion of super body sculpt with Stephanie Corley which was short but intense then later in the day I did BSS1 ab sculpt with Lisa Kay. I did the advanced moves on that and my abs and obliques are screaming at me this morning!

FIRMIES!
I also did Cardio Sculpt Blaster this AM (Great FIRM minds think alike, ZerasPride!). Over the weekend, I was only partially successful in my long-workout-quest. Saturday, I did CA&WT and sweat up a storm. But Sunday, I was lucky to squeeze in Stephanie Corley and Super Body Sculpt - all 3 segments. I just love those planks in the ab section.
It's a gray, rainy day in northern NJ & I just came from a funeral of a co-worker, who was a year younger than me. so I'll change my sign-off to "have a healthy day!" SGG
 
Good morning FIRMies!
Yesterday, I did Calorie Killer, Kathy Smith's Timesaver Upper Body and Abs workouts, plus we got caught walking in a rainstorm and I ended up running home.Whew! My upper body is sore today!

I have been eBaying steadily throughout the morning so I didn't get a workout in. I may try to do the Lower Body Sculpt 1 DVD I have later on today. If not today, then tomorrow.:teeth:

sueg~ You are doing a great job with your workouts!!:Pinkbounc That CAWT with Emily is tough! I think I do that video twice a month at the most.;) That Super Body Sculpt sounds like a great video! I'll have to look for it online somewhere. ::yes::

Happy Monday

Hope everybody is doing well. I just finished CS with Allie, or the first 15 minutes anyhow. First time i've done that 1 in awhile. Nice to know I'm not far off of where i was the last time i did it which was 20 minutes.

Later this afternoon, I'm gonna do the UB part of BS with Jen. I did it on Friday and had to ladder down a bit more than usual, but I'm happy to be where I am there 2.

Had a bit of a surprise this morning: I finally earned my 20lb clippiee :cheer2: And that was after I had breakfast. I might try to remeber to weigh myself b4 breakfast tmorrow.

Octoberbride03 - congrats on earning that 20 pound clippie! You must be so proud and we are proud of you too!!

Sheree - super body sculpt is one of my favorite work outs! I don't get a chance to do all three sections, I usually leave off the ab section but I did do it by itself for the first time yesterday morning then I added ab sculpt to it later in the day. I love those planks too! My abs don't love them though as they are really sore today! Great work out though, keep it up and you're doing great on our stay off the scale challenge Corporal!

Tracy - you are too funny! I feel like my abs are ripped too! Ouch! But its a good type of sore feeling. Never thought I'd be saying that! :) Anyway, your work outs sound awesome as usual. Sorry you got caught in the downpour yesterday.

sueg - you are right, great Firm minds do think alike! Great work out for you this morning! I'm so sorry about the death of your co-worker. That is just so sad. {{{hugs}}} to you.

I decided to take today off. I really didn't sleep well last night. Hopefully, it's back to the FIRM tomorrow AM, after a good night's sleep. It's still gray & rainy here, but I'll go back to my original signature. Have a happy & healthy day ! SGG
 
Good morning Firmies!

It was super body sculpt (upper and lower body portions) for me this morning. I toyed with the idea of doing the ab section to but begged off. My abs are still a bit sore but I might tackle the ab only portion tomorrow night. I can see how it's just enough ab work at the end of a long session of other strength work but it's not enough to do all by itself so I might do my regular cadio sculpt blaster tomorrow morning with the ab work from super body sculpt tacked on in the evening. We'll see.

sueg - it's grey here too. It's been raining off and on the past day or so. It's made me want to sleep in so bad but work calls. I'm sorry you didn't sleep well last night. Hopefully you'll be able to Firm tomorrow. :wave:

Last night was Cardio Sculpt with Allie- while I did a little better on some of the routines- I still flounder a bit. Lisa I think you said you can do some moves in your sleep- can't wait for that!:teeth:

Octoberbride03 Clippie Party:jumping1: Great work!

I have a question- does anyone take any kind of protein suppliment? I mean I know we are not doing heavy weight lifting- well I'm not, and I am sure with the diet my protein is down- and I have read it is benefical to take some after a workout. Anyone have any experiences?

Just wanted to give Melanie a "shout out" on this week's thread as well as the one from last week. Melanie we have missed you so. We all hope you can find time to exercise again. You know how addicting Firm work outs can be. Come on back over to the dark side with the rest us Firm addicts! :smooth:

Tracy - great work out today! Don't you just love how strong you feel after a Firm work out! Keep up the great work!

gadizlover - Cardio sculpt with Allie will always have a special place in my heart. Yes I can do those moves in my sleep because I was doing that work out 4 or 5 times a week for months. I just love Allie. The moves will come to you, just wait and see. I thought after doing super body sculpt for a couple of months that going back to regular body sculpt with Jen would be a piece of cake. NOT!!!! There is just something about Jen. Her work outs are tough. I do prefer super body sculpt but mostly because you do the upper and lower body work in different sections. It is challenging though and one of my new favorites. I really like the way Stephanie Corley leads super body sculpt plus since I like it better, I do it more often and can really see the definition in my thighs, arms and shoulders. Anyway, you are doing great! Keep up the the hard work!!! ::yes::

After a good night's sleep, I did Body Sculpt Blaster w/ Nancy. I don't think that I will ever love this workout as much as I love Cardio Sculpt Blaster w/ Lisa. I can't get into leg presses w/ tempo variation. I've even scaled down on the weights I'm using for this move..."until I achieve proper form..."
It's really nice to have several 30 min. workouts to chose from for the work days. Maybe Ab Sculpt tomorrow. Glad you guys are all doing well. I'm off to a meeting (don't I sound enthused!!)

Good morning Firmies!

I took a rest day this morning but I am determined to the ab section of super body sculpt when I get home from work tonight. I might also see if DH wants to go for a walk if the weather isn't bad. We had an early thunderstorm this morning that woke me up out of a sound sleep. :earseek:

Sue - I love cardio sculpt blaster with Lisa. I didn't know there was one with Nancy. I assume it's a 30 minute work out. It sounds tough. I'll be doing CSB with Lisa tomorrow morning. Anyway, great job on your work out!

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a rest day. Although I hardly call walking around six flags for hours and hours a rest:teeth: Today I'm going to try to get in a workout, but with my parents in town, that may not seem to be the case, we'll see.

I did MCB + Abs this morning! I have done this workout 100 times and I still can't get that dang step-n-scoop!!!:mad:

This'll be short, babes, as I'm off to the pool! Ds8 goes back to school Aug. 3d, so I'm trying to get as much Mom & Son time as I can during this way-too-short summer!

Lisa, I'm soooooo sorry that my PM to you was so short yesterday. I had to take Chris to baseball practice. He made the All-Star Tournament team, and everyday it's either practice or a game.:moped: I owe you more than just the few short lines I sent you. I just want you to know that I'm thinking about you and that I'm so happy you're my WISH/FIRM Sis and friend!:hug:

Sheree - I hope you're able to get in your work out. But definitely walking around an amusement park all day counts for something!

Kim - I appreciate you sending me that message. I probably wouldn't have notice Mel's post on our old thread. Don't worry, even a short and sweet one from you is a treat! I'm glad you got your work out in. Your schedule sounds packed but fun. I hope all is well with you FIRM-sis!!!!

Although I had another rough night of sleep, I forced myself thru Ab Sculpt w/ Lisa Kay. This tape is perfect when I can't handle a full exercise routine, but don't want to take another day off. My abs can ALWAYS use some attention & even if I don't break a sweat, I know my abs got some work.

I did CAWT with Emily today. I didn't workout yesterday due to a knee injury, but it felt much better today so I decided to give my whole body a major workout!:crazy:
