We are less than 2 weeks away from our trip. Watching the news it looks as though the wild fires are very bad. We have purchased the Plaza fireworks viewing desert package- if the fireworks are cancelled would we get a refund? Or, would we have to cancel within a certain amount of time.

Did the fine print when you booked the event state what would happen if the fireworks did not go on due to weather (which normally would be the most likely thing to occur)? I am assuming the party would still take place, and dessert would be served, but there would be no fireworks - but I do not have any actual experience with a cancellation .

The only time in history that Disney cancelled fireworks for wildfires was in July of 1998. We were there for our honeymoon and they cancelled them for the entire week we were there. They replaced them with Lazer light shows.

If it happens again, I would expect that the same thing would happen.
