We will be at Sea World next week. In looking at the schedule, I see they have fireworks near closing time. This will be my family's second visit to Sea World, not counting the few visits I had as a child, so I'm not as familiar with the park. Can anyone suggest a general area where one can have a good view of the display? I'd like to do the Shamu Rocks show which is listed for 930. Not possible to do both or do I have to choose? Or can you see the fireworks from there? My kids love fireworks.....but I think they'd like Shamu Rocks better. They will have plenty of fireworks with Disney.

Thanks in advance

we will be there next week also!!! they way I understood it is that you can do shamu rocks and then head to waterfront for fireworks...you should be able to do both

I have a post with lots of helpful responses to sea world schedule and show information that has gotten a lot of good responses...here

hope this helps...

Actually, the waterfront is on the other side of the park across a bridge, but this bridge will be closed for your safety because the fireworks are set off right next to it. So you would have to go the long way around to get to the waterfront. And you will be walking or running while the show is going on. A better place to view fireworks would be from Bayside Stadium located near Shamu Stadium. You will be able to see Shamu Rocks and then fireworks right after. So dont worry about missing them.

Great! Thanks for the help. Glad to know I can do both. We don't need to be right in front of the action for fireworks......just know we can see them OK from where we might be. Didn't really want to have to include a running dash across the park if you aren't able to view them from near the Shamu Stadium. I was willing to choose one or the other if necessary. We're only going 1 day to SW, so I wanted to make sure we are able to fit in what we can.

regards

The firewworks show is set up for the people in Bay Stadium to see. You can see the ones in the sky but can't really see the show from the other side.

Bay stadium is right next to Shamu Stadium and you can walk from the one to the other. The mass of people watching all 3 shows usually go from Sea lion stadium to shamu stadium and then Bay Stadium as a group. You can probably sit on the berm to to the lake on either side of the stadium and see and hear the story pretty well. We watched from across the lake and you do not see the full effects.
