Fireworks, Parades and FP

It's been a few years since our last trip to Disney and I've noticed that there is a new FP system in place since we last were there! Not sure I'm liking this system but can try it!

I am curious though when they have FP for parades or fireworks....where do you go that you would need a FP for these? In the past, we just found a spot an hour before the show and waited. Does the FP mean you just go to some roped off area just before the show?

Any info would be great!!

Yes, FP for the parades and fireworks is a roped off area. It is limited so there is normally better viewing availability without all the pushing, etc.

People have varying opinions on whether or not it is worth it, but for me having two little kids the parade fp+ is worth it, if you are going to MK for multiple days.

We will FP+ MSEP and just stay in the area for wishes (which is allowed). The wishes fp+ is to the right of the castle and I just don't love the view.

I would not fp+ Illuminations in Epcot.

I am considering FP+ for the new Festival of Fantasy parade, but I am going to try to catch it in Frontierland earlier in the week. If we don't get good seats, we will FP+ later in the week.

To me, this is the cool thing about FP+! You can to use it for what makes sense to YOU on your trip. (even if it's not the most popular attractions/experiences)
