We love the safari. We have always gone first thing because I would have thought the animals would be sleeping off the heat later - but I have read more than one trip report of late saying that they are actually pretty active in the afternoon too - even in the heat. We'll have to test that out next week!!

And another thing we've never done - is Rafiki's. Another thing to add to our list!

My girls love Primeval whirl - Madalyn was thrilled the last time we were there that she is finally tall enough to ride it. Not sure why the height requirement is so high. They will be disappointed that it's closed this summer.

Then I had to be super sleuth and find it again. I was wondering why you hadn't updated in so long! Sorry about that!!! I wonder if it was something I did or a glitch. Hmmmm...

If you make any dismeets, just text me and I'll try to get there. I have free text on my iPad, but won't have that in the parks. I can wriite you back in the evenings. I'll have my cell, but can't guarantee to answer it with noise, etc,

There has been a lot of weird things going on lately. I posted something on here Friday night and it showed up as Friday morning and even moved it to that time in the thread. It was weird.

Whew, What a Week! Well, this is going to be a very short update today. We leave this afternoon and I am overjoyed!!! I can't wait to just get on the road.

I am packed and ready to go. The house is clean, yard mowed, trailblazer has a full tank of gas!!! My desk is completely clean at work! I have never been this prepared for a trip in my life. Plus, I have purchaed our AP's and will get them when we arrive tomorrow!!!

I am getting ready to leave work and head to Family Day at Scout Camp. Tom and Jeremy have been attending Day Camp this week and really wanted me to be there for the finale today. So, I put in long hours at work the last 2 days so I could leave early today. It should be a fun way to start our vacation.

So for those of you I will be seeing soon, have safe travels!


Look for a new trip coming on July 6th!!!

We are back and we definitely had one of the best trips of our lives!!! I was never more relaxed and had so much fun with my family! I plan to get the trip started in the next few days so I will post the link here once I do. We got home last night around 7 and I am back to work today. My desk is overflowing so I am taking a dis break!

The boys leave for scout camp Friday so I have to get laundry done the next few days and oh, I have to go to the grocery store. There is nothing left in my house to eat.

So, in the meantime, I will give you some spoilers to be revealed in the trip.

1. You said what to Alice and the White Rabbit!?! (This will probably be the title of my report and I will tell you it happens the last day of the trip!)
2. I think I now know the definition of a Tween and boy, I DO NOT like it!
3. Will we ever get into our room and when we do, what big surprise will there be?
4. You did what in the lobby of the AKL?
5. How many lives will we see saved at the pool?
6. Who gets sick?
7. What did Jeremy find at the hotel that he can't wait to go back to in November?

I hope you will join me when I finally get this trip started. Hope to have it going by Friday!

Hi Pat! I can't wait to share all of our good times with everyone.

Yes, we head to Charlotte on July 24th. I plan to figure everything out this weekend while Tom and Jeremy are away. We definitely have to meet up. I will let you know my conference schedule soon!
