Fireworks Dessert Party

I just posted about this. For May 23 it shows sold out for me for 6 pm (only time option offered). Isn't the fireworks at like 9pm?

i think when they originally post the reservations (usually 180 days out), park hours may not be solidified or properly entered into the system, so they just put a random time in. This happened to me last time too, wishes was at 8, but the reservation time was 6:20. They started letting people in a little before 7 and started serving at 7.

Any chance of getting in without a reservation (probably not, right)? I didn't realize this could be booked 180 days and and now there is nothing fro our trip during the last week of April.

keep looking, multiple times a day, you may get lucky. Also, keep an eye on the reservations cancellations threads on this site.

I think the reservations need to be canceled 5 days in advance to qualify for a full refund, so if you haven't gotten one by then, i might step up the looking 10 or so days before you want the reservation.

seeing pictures of the new wishes FP+ areas, those seem to be very good alternatives, if you're looking for reducing the impact of the crowds

It wasn't available 180 days in advance for May. When I called a few weeks later when it still wasn't there they said the earliest would be 90 days ahead. I looked online at 70/75 days out and they were sold out!

Out of curiosity, I looked and found availability for the dessert party in mid-May while I was booking our 180+10 ADRs (this was about noon Eastern on November 17, 2014). I didn't book it (then or when it popped up a week or so later). I wonder why it showed up at 180 days for me but not others?

We did it twice, last year and the year before. We thought it was great. Sound is a bit quiet, but the view and desserts were great.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a price increase. It's much less than the Illuminations buffet and from what I can see, the only difference is no alcohol and you get a table to sit at.

We did this last May and really enjoyed it.

We didn't have to stake out a spot or fight any crowds and we got a great view of the fireworks.....we felt that the cost was worth it for our family of 4.
