The Fireworks Dessert Party is held every night at the Magic Kingdom through October 31. One hour before the Wishes fireworks begin, you can enjoy a self-service dessert party buffet at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station that features a wide range of sweets and beverages. (Offerings for guests with special dietary needs will be available.) You can then stay to enjoy Wishes from this exclusive viewing area. Price for the dessert party is $23.42 for guests ages 10 and over; $12.99 for ages 3 - 9). Seating is limited. Reservations are not required but are highly recommended due to the anticipated popularity of this experience. For reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE. Space permitting, seating for walk-ups may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. NOTE: Park admission to Magic Kingdom is required. The Disney Dining Plan is not currently being accepted. Prepayment will be required reserving seats for this event in advance.

We did the Dessert Party back in July and loved it!!! I am so glad to hear that they have extended it to the end of October. I will probably book it for our trip early that month.

Two things I wanted to mention...we got there about 15 minutes before it started and had to wait quite a while for people to finish eating in the upper area of the Noodle Station. The line was in the center area and was very hot and stuffy. However, there is really no advantage to arriving early since the tables are already pre-assigned. We saw one woman who didn't like the table that she was assigned to walk over to another table, swapped out the name plates, and sat her family at the "better" table. I'm not sure how Disney discovered that this woman had done this, but something was said to her, and I think she had to move back to her original table. She seemed mortified that she got caught. The other thing I wanted to mention is that the location of your table doesn't really matter much because once the fireworks begin, everyone gets up and stands by the railing. So even if you are at a table close to the railing, you will still need to stand when the show begins.

You'll love it, Lynn! Are Cheryl and Jeff going with you? Right now I am trying to convince my husband that we need to take our oldest daughter and her husband to it in October...he wants to do the Hoop-de-doo review instead. I think we should do both and just not do Le Cellier or one of the other places that we have reservations for.

I would do the Dessert Party and the Hooptee Doo and skip Le Celier....especially with children. Just not very appealing to our kids. THey will however LOVE the Hooptee Doo.....that is the one thing that our kids always ask about doing when we go.
