So I have been to Disney 3 times. In the process of planning my 4th trip for this January. Have seen some things about the dessert party on the tomorrowland terrace. Wondering how you go about booking this? Is it a fast pass or a dining reservation?

Have never seen fantasmic. We are not looking to do a dining package that includes VIP seats. However I was wondering is there a fastpast for better seats or do you just wait around and try getting the best seats you can? Thank you for the info in advance!

The HEA dessert parties (plural, because there are two versions, the Tomorrowland Terrace seated version and the Plaza Garden viewing version), are bookable like ADRs. Only difference is full payment is due at the time of booking and there is a 5 day cancellation period.

The happily ever after reserved viewing area is a dessert party that you book like an adr. No FP. There's no more FP's for fireworks at mk

For Fantasmic the dining section gets the very center. FP is to the side of that then standby in the other sections. A FP for Fantasmic just offers more choices in seats. We usually get Fantasmic as a 4th FP because we like arriving early, sitting in the front row and as close to the center as possible. Regardless for Fantasmic whether you do standby, FP, or dining package, I'd recommend getting there about 45 min or more before showtime
