My whole family went to UM... I love about 5 minutes from campus. I You'll love it, it's such a great school! Congrats on getting in.. it's hard!

What a small world! The campus is so beautiful...I was a little apprehensive about it (just thinking about the student loans I have to take out is killing me! lol) going into the application process but as soon as I took the tour, I fell in love!

And thanks for the congratulations; I was like when I got my admissions letter! lol

No, I went to UM for my freshman and sophomore year....I graduated from FIU.

By the way, has anyone heard anything else about the fires up in Central Florida? The last I heard, it was not accidental (some stupid kids set the fires) and the fires were still burning. I'm just wondering how smokey it is up in the Orlando area.

they have caught a guy they suspect that may have started the fires. they put out an attempted fire at 4 this morning. and according to fla hiway patrol web site I-95 is open.

Yep, saw this on the news this morning. (actually...ALL morning..stupid local news decides this guy is more important than my Today show!! lol)

They did say, however, they may be shutting down I-95 for a short time. They're going to try to burn the ground ahead of the fires to preven it from spreading, so they may have to shut down the highway sometime today for that.

It isn't that smoky in the Central FL area...I'll be @ WDW later today & tomorrow...so I'll let you girls know how it looks when I get back tomorrow night.
