Fire Destroys a Disney Bus

Having just decided to read this thread, I was going to post my own thoughts. But Erikrthewise said exactly what I was thinking.

A bus fire--an accident-handled properly-fire out-no injuries -buses inspected-- not a general problem

Time to move on---.

A BUS FIRE AT WDW THAT DIDNT MAKE THE NEWS:eek:
It must be a coverup, the Disney muckymucks are silencing everyone involved. The bus driver has left on a 6 week vacation . The crew on the fire engine, have all been reassigned to secret duty elsewhere and are unavailable for comment. Officials for the bus manufacturing company have closed the facility and are now living in seclusion in the Himalayas. Soon we will have dogs and cats living in sin. OH The Humanity of it all.

I stopped in to read this thread because I love fires. I want to watch it all burn and I was hoping to read all about a MAJOR conflageration that threatened square miles of WDW.

Instead I get a short article about a single vehicle fire that no one got hurt at. AND dozens of comments about a secret coverup. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Maybe I am a bit jaded but there are some things that are news worthy and some not. I am sure that the local news heard about the fire and did not deem it worthy. If WDW did not have things like this happen they would have no need for their own FIRE DEPARTMENT. Vehicles catch fire all the time. I have had an AMBULANCE burn right out from under me.(Ford problem). And all it got was a short column in the local paper. No conspiracy, no official statements from the CEO of the company. No big deal.

As for the post count and views I could post a thread about any incident at WDW and get a lot of views. If you want the post count to go up just start a contoversial slant to it. Post counts dont carry a lot of weight to me it is the quality of the posts that do. This one has few QUALITY posts.(including this one by ME)

Way off topic for the transportation board - if you would like to debate WDW policy please do so on the debate board.

Say Bye-bye:wave2:
