Fire Department charge for 911 call in Anaheim?

I found a copy of the plan and I don't see anything that would exclude the Fire Department charge.

Emergency Medical Insurance covers you for up to (whatever limit I have) of covered expenses incurred by you as a result of medical attention required by you during your trip if a medical condition begins unexpectedly after you leave home, but only if these covered expenses are not covered by your government health insurance plan or any other benefit plan. The medical attention must be required as part of your emergency treatment and ordered by a physician (or dentist in the case of dental treatment).

Unless I missed something I don't see how they can't cover the Fire Department bill.

I wanted to update anyone that was wondering what happened.

I had to send in the invoice and wait to see if they would pay. I called a few times and then was told it would take 2 weeks to find out.

I received the ambulance invoice after finding out that they had paid the Fire Department bill. It was an absolute mess dealing with this Travel Insurance company. Even my TA couldn't get any answers. Found out that the bill for the Ambulance was also paid.

I kept getting different answers every time I called. Still don't know if I will get the extra $2+ in the difference in the exchange rate that I paid when I paid the ER bill on my Credit Card.

I'm stuck using them again for this next trip as I purchased the Travel Insurance quite a long time ago. I just hope I don't need to use them for any claims.
