Yesterday we had lunch at Finnegan's. This was a great place to eat. We had never eaten there in the past. This was a pleasant surprise. DH had the corned beef and cabbage and loved it. He said the corned beef was very lean. I had the fish and chips. They were very good, a little on the greasy side but still good. DS had the chicken tenders which he said was great. We also had the potato and onion web, that was to die for. I doused everything in the malt vinegar...very good.

Yeah another fan I think that its a great pub with great atmosphere and the menu is so excellent :cool1:

DW and I love that place. The sheppards (sp?) pie is great and that onion thing appetizer is amazing. One of my favorite them park restaurants.

The scotch eggs are prety good as well also their fresh bread and apple jelly are really great

We were there the same day ;)
Everyone's food was very good. That onion/potato appetizer was great!
The service was very slow for us and we were near the door, which kept opening and blowing in artic air! lol I always enjoy lunch at Finnegins.

another thumbs up! We've eaten there during both of our US visits (and at IOA - we like Mythos).

the soda bread is REALLY good! I really feel like I"m in Boston when we eat there though! :)

You all in a nice way STINK. My wife read this last night and reminded her how much she loved the potato onion so guess where we are going after the new year. Well hey I love Fennigans and my Yards of GUINNESS and we can finally ride the MUMMY

We were at Finnegans on Tuesday also. If we had all known, we could have had a mini DIS meet :teleport:

The potato and onion web was to die for. Our family had the corned beef and cabbage, the chicken sandwich and the fish and chips - all very, very good.

It is a must do for us. Last time I had a salad that came with schotch eggs on it. Yummy. The pot pie is really good. DH usually gets the mixed grille. DS gets a chicken sandwich. DD I think ate off of our plates every time.

My family was there on that same Tuesday! LOL! I had the corned beef sandwich on pretzel bread and it was awesome! Needless to say, I'm back on Atkins today!

We've been to Universal numerous times but never ate there! Where is this place?? You all have my mouth watering!!!

We too love finnegans. We love the happy hour(s) for the beer too :)

First time we went back in 1999 we managed to pick up a 40% discount voucher for a meal here and we made full use of it and had a fantastic meal. We've not actually eaten there since due to the times of the year we go (Sept/Oct/Nov). The park closes a little earlier and we prefer to eat our evening meal later and don't have room (or the calories to spare) for a larger meal during the day.

We have left IOA to go back to Finnegans for there happy hour. Yes we tried the bars at IOA but they dont have the beer they have at Finnegans.

It is a great bar good atmosphere as well I have found ita always worth while asking when they stop serving as a couple of times they have taken us in at 5.30 for meal park closing at 6 and we have not left till 7pm or there abouts
