hi i just finished my two wks of induction and lost 9 lbs!!!and 2 1/2 inches

I was thinking of staying on induction thru sept. I read somewhere if you are staying on induction over 2 wks you can add macadamia nuts to your diet- but i can't find the where i read this is this correct????
 
Wow, that's great! Congrats!

You can stay on Induction as long as you like. As far as mac nuts, I don't know the official answer - but they happen to be my best secret weapon. They are very high in fat, and fiber, low in carbs otherwise, in other words, a perfect Atkin's food! Just be careful about portion size. I often have 1 oz (about 1/4 cup) with a big glass of water for breakfast. It's easy to take to work, and to have ready for snacks - just measure your portions out ahead of time. They are very very satisfying.

You did great! Was induction hard for you? What foods did you eat? I had completed 8 days of induction and lost 5 pound total until this morning a 1/2 pound crept back on. I had a great day yesterday too. I don't get it. I was discouraged this morning and went off induction but to hear your success is encouraging. I will start induction again tomorrow. Please share any tips that led to your success. Thanks.
 

don't be discouraged- 5lbs is great

after going thru the carb withdrawl days 2-4 I found it easy to stay on induction.

some of the foods I ate alot of???
LOTS of deviled eggs,

the mock danishes ( i've used lemon and also almond extracts) really satisfied my sweet tooth.

cheese and pepperoni

ceaser salad

sugar free jello

lots of a bacon

mashed cauliflower with butter and cream ( great mashed potato sub)

I love deviled eggs. I can't believe I never thought of that. I also just printed out the low carb cheesecake recipe off the new Eating Healthy section. It sounds delicious. I didn't care for the mock danish so this sounds like a great replacement for that.

That is awesome. I'm on my 11th day of induction(for the 100th time). But I pretty much stay on induction the whole time. I can never get to week 4 without having a cheat day, so my goal is to do the 100 day challenge. We'll see............:D
