Finger Scanning Question

Thank you that was helpful. Do you insert the ticket into the machine and then it matches or do you scan it as well? Not completely sure how it works. Thanks.

Just wanted to double check.... the finger scanning is for adult (10 years +) tickets only, right? :confused3 My DS 5 would certainly hold up the line every time if he has to do the finger scan!

some friends gave us unused tickets from this year. I know the adults tickets cannot be transferred but what about the tickets for under age 10?

Great. That looks easy enough. Thanks everyone.

ALL Disney World ticket media is Nontransferable.

I'm not looking forward to this finger scanning business at WDW. We recently got annual passes at a Paramount park where they also do the finger scans. DS had a difficult time getting his to work (3 tries), and my husband's never would work. It wasn't that he didn't "get it", as the employee stood right there and told him exactly what to do several times. The scanner just did not work for him. The Paramount employee speculated it might be because he has a lot of callouses on his hands. They finally had to just encode his card to where he didn't have to scan. He just puts his card in and goes though. Unfortnately, it sounds like this is not an option at WDW.
